If they release hundreds of dollars worth of DLC for this game:

- If one of those DLCs is a fixed ending, I will happily forget all of this and buy the rest.
- If none of those DLCs are a fixed ending, I will not touch the series ever again

Those are the only two options I give them with regards to my money. They gave me three choices, I'm giving them two.

Exactly this.

Sums up how I feel

I believe DLC will be released that changes (or adds) the endings. Why? I know that I'd pay for it and smart money says so will a lot of people.  It's a huge opportunity to make money.  However, I doubt it will be released any time soon.  They need time for production unless they already have alternate endings that they are withholding from us.

Not buying anything else from Bioware and cutting all subscription ties till the sort this out

This! ^^ Cancelled my TOR account about an hour ago. Reason sited was a protest to the "ending" of Mass Effect series. Bioware does not get ANOTHER PENNY from me EVER unless this is fixed- PERIOD! The rest of you who feel the same (and its most of you) please for the love of god do the samething! PLEASE!!

This-ish. The precedent of making crap endings that are alleviated by giving a company MORE money to make a better one is icky. I'm borderline done with Bioware. Free new ending, yay. Paying for it? It better be amazing (the exact opposite of the current ending) and lengthy, worth the money. Which means I won't buy it until it's been out long enough for lots of feedback and review.

Well, I must apologize for offending so many. I have played every mass effect all the way through. I wasn't late coming to the series. I bought the first one the day it came out and reserved the other 2 as a result. I was floored by this series. I saw the ending as a means to an end. I believe that the reaper threat was so tremendous in size that there was no way of beating them without sacrificing everything that you built up. Shepard wouldn't have stood in the presence of the catalyst without making all the bonds and connections that he\\she did. The way things ended was inevitable. The choice comes when you as Shepard make the ultimate decision to preserve yourself, sacrifice yourself to destroy, or sacrifice yourself (and everything you have accomplished) to create. As Mordin did to cure the genophage, Shepard sacrificed it all to break the cycle. Everything that Shepard built or destroyed was necessary to get to the catalyst. The true choice came in the form of sacrifice or lack there of knowing that the victory achieved would end in loss.

I hope they let the fans do not hang, not after so many years. I really hope they listen to us and fix this "end".

2) EA want money. They dont care about "betray" us. Bioware cant do anything about the ending if EA dont agree.

Really? A company wants money? noooo say it ain't so.. next thing you'll say is hungry people want food. Bioware can't do anything about it? so, that's why everyone is spending their time ranting to Bioware? amazing logic if only the rest of the people making threads were this bright. I applaud you good sir

I´m just very reluctant to play ME3 again after this disappointment.
1. you choose to desolve yourself to take control of the reapers and sending them back to dark space. hmm sucks.
2. you throw yourself into a beam and pretty much force the entire universe to become some weird organic species with a hint of sentient in the skin.. hmm not really my thing.
And finally the 3rd. You destroy the reapers but also the Geth and EDI and every other sentient. Now for me that is THE most unacceptable option because I did not work my butt off getting the Geth and Quarians to coexist, just to kill off the Geth.. And ruin the chance Joker has with EDI lol.
But the main thing I dont like is the fact your char dies or does he.... but the game after the fight take place in timetravel... just before you attack the Cerberus base.. I seriously hope there is some logic in Biowares thinking here, cuz I don´t see it..

I personally think those endings are awesome in span and Depth. Having said that, there should be an ending that is more satisfying.
