Contains spoilers so stop reading if u haven't beaten it.

At the very end of the game during the conversation with the illusive man and anderson I was unable to pick the very last paragon option and this has happened on two seperate playthroughs.  Both times my paragon meter was full and yet I couldn't pick it.  Is this a glitch that needs fixing? or is it set up so that if you hit ANYTHING renegade you can't click it?

did i read somewhere you have to use every paragon choice with TIM prior to that moment to talk him down? I did in my playthrough and had no issues.

I had this happen to me at the end of my playthrough last night. I was actually shocked since my Paragon meter was full and I had always picked every paragon option. I thought it might have been a glitch as well.

Im sure on one occasion I chose the renegade response so maybe its the majority of your dialogue with him needs to be paragon.

From what I've read and experienced it may be a glitch. In my playthrough I had max
Paragon and I selected every Paragon option up to that point, including my previous conversations with TIM.

Didn't work for me, it was greyed out. But for other people who have done the exact same things, it was available. *shrugs* My guess is that it's a bug.

I had the same thing happen to me, except with full renegade. And I was sure I was a renegade to TIM the whole time, so I'm not sure why this happened to me too.

I had the same issue, but at this point I really don't care. I couldn't bring myself to complete another playthrough and I tried starting one yesterday. The "Oh crap we don't know what to do" ending just threw me WAY off, felt like they'd fired the real writers and left a new guy in charge

Does anyone know if this involves the collectors base in ME2? (The decision that was made and if it allows you to select that option in me3)

I don't think so, TBH I'm not exactly sure what roll the collector base plays in the ending of ME3. All I know is that I have always selected every Paragon option with TIM. Unless I am missing something that should be enough in my book.

I"m pretty sure this is a glitch, because with the change in the reputation system, Renegade and Paragon scores no longer sabotage each other. I had a full rep bar, about 90% Paragon and neither the Paragon or the Renegade option were high-lighted.

I think the only role of the Collector base was weither or not Cerebrus recovers the Human Repear larva fully intact or not. If you blew up the base, Cerebrus recovers the central core and a few pieces of the body. I'd imagine if you left it alive, Cerebrus recovers the entire thing, just guessing, haven't done a play through with the Collector's Base intact yet.

Yeah I had a 100% full bar of paragon and I couldn't select the final choice.

Ahh gotcha, well I'll have to play through on my renegade shepard who left it intact and see how that plays out.

What difference would it have made, by the way?

There is a hidden paragon/renegade option in your first encounter with him.

the only way to find it is to select the third option... "you're wasting your time!" When he goes on about controlling the reapers on mars

I am not 100% positive, but I believe Anderson survives.

Really? hmm, I'll have to make sure I select that on my NG+.

Ya, I'm hearing the last Paragon option results in the same with Saren, with the Illusive Man committing suicide, saving Anderson, though can't confirm cause I didn't get it. Doing another play through to see if I can it this time around.
