well who is everyone's favorite Dragon Age: Origins character nd why? I haven't beaten the game yet but when i do i will post back here....

I have many:
Duncan - Pwnsause armor, epic beard, heroic battle
Shale - The pidgeon killer. Too funny.
Ohgren - Drunk Dwarven warrior, lulz guaranteed
Loghain - Probably the most complex character in the game
Sandal - Enchantment?

My Personal Favourite has to be Shale. Probably not the best Character in the game, but she certainly has the funniest dialogue. I like the (Teagan) "Well you're certainly not normal travellers" (Shale) "Oh Good Eye!". This really made me laugh because I was wondering why no-one was reacting to a golem walking through the Chantry.
Edit: Oh, and we musn't forget "Pidgeon Crap"

I'd say it's between Oghren and Shale with Oggie slightly in the lead. Honestly though, I enjoyed all of the characters on some level (even Morrigan which I always seem to talk negatively about).

For me, it's a tie between Alistair and Zevran. Some of their one liners are absolutely brilliant. xD

(But I'm yet to meet Oghren, and I have a soft spot for Dwarves.)

Teagan *swoon* In a nation full of apparent ideologues and sycophants and pessimists and just downright depressed people, he seems to be the most level-headed, benevolent, optimistic, and determined person i've run across. Excepting the time when his mind was addled by a demon, of course. But who can fault him for that? Wish i could make him king. Glad he gets redcliffe.



As for companions? I have to say Alistair because of the writing and voice acting, Shale, and Zevran, too. I'm a sucker for funny one-liners

Bann Teagan. Choices made ingame saw him to be a pragmatist - a bit like my PC. He would have made a fine addition to my PC's party and wouldn't have effed her around with stupid problems.

I wanted to bring him along, too...though i knew he was needed in redcliffe.  Mainly i really wanted to try to get him into my tent, but that's neither here nor there.... :wub:  In my "after game" imaginings my PC made a nice little side trip to redcliffe.  or two.  or three.
