So, I went online on day 2 of ME3 and people were talking about how they torrented the dlc and were playing it on a legit copy of the game.

How is that possible bioware???

Why do we actually buy that stuff when others simply get them for free? <_<

You can ask that question about lots of things. Like if you saw people running out a shop with clothes they stole that you paid for a couple of days before would you steal your clothes in future?

Because they're playing cracks- with all the new Origin stuff, I find it highly unlikely that pirated DLC is playable outside of an illegal version of the game. And remember, cracks are glitchy pieces of software and give incentive for excessive DRM that punishes you and me for what other idiots do.

Just remember, you won't get banned for your completely legal content and their cracked DLC could have a rootkit that trashes their operating system.

nah im just saying thats pretty messed up because somehow they can use those torrented dlcs without cracks? as they were playing online. Its kinda funny how origin or the ea server cant detect that.
