I dunno, so many years building up this series that I kinda hoped that Shepard could, y'know, be together with Kaidan in the end?

there should be a happy ending, even if it is really hard to achieve (but still possible when playing single-player) .. just my 2 cents, call me a crybaby if you will but I wanted to see my Shepard happy with Kaidan ..

I mean seriously, Shepard sacrificed EVERYTHING in the 3 ME games (even dying and being brought back) -- why cant he/she be happy in the end? Shepard deserves it IMO

I wouldn't normally tell an artist how to end their story, but video games are different. They require a certain degree of trust between the developer and the customers. Dragon Age 2's ending was poorly written. Mass Effect 3's ending was poorly written. I can no longer trust that Bioware's next game will have a well-written ending. Simple as that.

<-- Indifferent -- I don't really have a problem with it as it is or if they fix it. When asked before release all I ever said was that I wanted to be surprised and technically I was.

<-- Do I want to grow up? -- I'm 41 going on 42; if I grow up any more than I am I'll be undead.

Ham... if you think the amount of negative word of mouth about ME3's sales hasn't already impacted BioWare's corporate income... guess again. I've personally convinced at least 5 people who were planning on purchasing ME3 this weekend to read the comments people have posted here and avoid buying this POS. So I've personally been instrumental in reducing ME3 sales by $300 or so. If everyone who is as PO'ed as I am did this, I think the boys in Edmonton would pay attention.

The grim ending, as painful as it is, isn't even the main problem.

A great part of this series, was choice, and that was taken away from us.

Nothing we've done matters in the grand scheme of things, the only defining factor is if you walk left, right or in the middle down a path in the last 5mins.

I agree with this. Although I fervently wished for a happy ending of sort, it was actually the fact that nothing Shepard did matter that made me really disappointed with ME3.

Also, I don't think being frustrated with the way the game ended is being cry baby. However, being frustrated with game ending and went on calling the devs names and such *would* be cry baby. That's just my opinion, of course.

It's human nature to start to care about something they've invested hundreds of hours into..

If you rebuild a 69 SS Camaro that took you years to fix up, then the first time you take it out, someone keys it while you're in 7-11..

You just going to shrug and fix it without any anger, then just let the guy who did it walk off no hard feelings? Yea.. Right..

Time is time. Investment emotional or physical is important and natural for people. They become invested emotionally in anything that they invest their time and energy into. It doesn't matter what that "object" is.. The feelings are real and legitimate...

It's called "having a passion". I feel that the people who talk down to those of us who are upset or who can't even see why people would feel cheated either haven't found one worth investing in or they can't empathize with having one ruined.

Cry baby? Really man? I think it's time for people like YOU to grow up. People need to stop saying and thinking, "Oh, it's just a game, get over it." Do people say that about books? Movies? Television shows? No, not even close to as much as they do about games and gamers. Why am I not allowed to be emotionally invested in one of the best stories I've ever experienced, which I have spent hundreds of hours of my time experiencing? And why am I not allowed to do that when others can do the SAME EXACT THING that I'm doing with TV shows, movies, or books? So no, I don't need to grow up. YOU do.

Oh it's going to get worse... ALOT worse.. lol

I've seen flame wars from games before.. However this has got to be the largest and generally most united i've seen.. Other games are like 50/50 or 70/30. whatever.. This one is 99% of hatred involving 10 minutes of dialog.. (Yes I'm sure we'd love to see some more space stuff, and joker flying the Normady with air strikes or something but thats not what it's about)

I've played more games that I'd ever admit to anyone.. This is the worst ever.. The Game E.T. Atari didn't ****** me off as much as Bioware just has.. lol

-PS If you get that reference.. You KNOW just how bad it is.. ;)

Don't care of the site myself, but it's easier to link to them (if I 'm posting a quick response)  than another site that might something offensive on it.

Let me guess.  You agree with George that Jar Jar is indeed the best character in the franchise...

Why should we be the ones in the wrong when Bioware's the group that made a reason to ***** in the first place?

That's like punching a toddler and blaming the toddler for crying.

This is accurate imo. Punch the toddler, blame him for crying, then tell the toddler to grow up because people get punched all the time "in real life".

Seems fitting.
