The way bioware writes the game, most of the writers are not involved in the ending. I'm sure the guy who wrote Mordin's last mission is feeling pretty good right now.

Cmon man they can't outsource the ending. Its one of the most important parts of the story
The ending felt like a joke. LIke when someone says they killed your mom 'cause she wouldn't make brownies, and you kind of chuckle at the absurdity. Then you realize that they did kill your mom 'cause she wouldn't make brownies.

Either they are feeling....
1. Dissapointed that the fans weren't satisfied with their vision for the end of the series
2. Regretful that they didn't have the time/resources/control to make the ending that they actually wanted
3. Angry at the fans for not appreciating their artistic vision. Angry because we don't have the right to reject their writing or demand a change.
4. Happy that they are getting a nice big pay-check and great reviews from critics. Fan reaction doesn't really matter.
Which do you think?

If they cared they would not have used DA1 as the base line for the MA3 story.

Please do not use the time/resourses excuse with AAA developers espically with Bioware.

They tried to change the plot since the leak and this started the mess

I think it's the 4th option, they are getting paid, what do they care now. Screw them and screw EA.moneycashgeorge wrote...

I want to believe they are receptive to critical feedback, but I don't think they are since they've recycled so many familiar elements in all their games. From a writing standpoint they continue to make the same mistakes.

Having read it, I really would have been okay with the leak ending. I liked how it brought in the dark energy aspects of ME2.

Thank you! I'll try
OK! I hate to say this, but hang tight for now. Try to focus on the great things from ME3 and think about some of the implications from the ending (because you have to admit, some things that creepy little ghost boy said were kind of cool lore wise).
I'll try and make this a priority and hopefully more people will play and get to the ending
Thanks for being swell guys!!!
Thank you for responding it can´t be fun for you guys either, we know you worked hard but many of us are just really disappointed right now.
Always nice to get a sign that they do care. Unfortunately, thinking about the implications from the ending is what lead us to several topics about Planet Deliverance...
I certainly don't personally begrudge anybody at Bioware. It's their story and they can choose how to end it (just as I, as a consumer, have chosen to rent the game instead of buying it). However, I would love for some clarification about the ending, because all of the "the journey is more important" isn't providing confidence that this ending was ever meant to be a satisfying conclusion.

And there's still a very slight chance this is all some brilliant BW ploy and they've had something else coming up to surprise us with all along.

They don't care. They take no pride in their work obviously. Talis face thing proves that to me. Its the best evidence out there. The writer is either a noob writer or he simply doesn't care. If he is a noob, then probability is that he doesn't understand why his ENTIRE STORY sucks.

ME 1 and 2 lead writer = Drew Karphyshyn
ME 3= someone else, Mac walters whatever bla bla.
Not hard to draw a conclusion of that....

Heh.... good luck on that. Unless Im missing something I have yet to see any retail version game have the final end of the game completely changed with a DLC or patch. It sorta breaks the game for better or worse the endings are what they are.
I dont think the endings are all that terrible but like said earlier they could have been much better still Im enjoying multiplayer for now that isnt COD or Battlefield till Borderlands comes out.
Prince of Persia.
"Epilogue Pack".
For the record, my vote is 4.
If the game had sold really poorly, or if it starts receiving high amounts of returns, we might see some action on these things. As it stands, it made money, so the only thing I'm sure they're concerning themselves with is making more DLC to make more money. Fans are of lower importance than cranking out those microtransactions.
