There is a mistake in the 360 version in that what should be the achievemtent for killing 25 enemies with the omnitool (Omniblade) is unlocked as an award instead of an achievement. I experienced this today.

achievement is for killing 100 enemies with melee award is for 25.

But it shouldn't be an XB360 award. Awards are supposed to be items for your avatar, etc. It should really be an achievement if it is just an acknowledgement. It's out of place otherwise. I got an award earlier which was the N7 helment, an item for my avatar.

U get the omniblade as an avatar award when u kill 25 enemies with melee. U get an achievement when u kill 100 enemies with melee. Maybe its out of place, but thats just how it is.

No, its not out of place other than it was a normal achievement icon rather than an avatar item thumbnail. I had not realized that it was an item and so I incorrectly assumed it was mistake. Having looked in my avatar items, I saw the Omniblade was in fact an avatar item. So it was acutally my mistake :S. Thanks for the info anyway.

I've played a number of games with avatar awards for in-game progress. They all pop up achievement style and say "Avatar award unlocked."

I unlocked those awards too but for some reason I can't seem to find it in my avatar's items. Is is a bug or did I mess up?
