I'm wondering what ending you get with the option for synthesis available and action mode on. I think the various endings are way too different to allow for future Mass Effect stuff to gloss over, like Shep's gender. The closest thing we have to canon is whatever the automated responses are throughout the game. Does anyone feel like making a compiled list of what decisions happen? Or at least for what ending the game chooses?

Action mode just makes all dialogue auto dialogue and since you have to physically move around in the end 'choice', nothing different happens.

There wont be future ME stuff, as in stuff that takes place after these games in the timeline. Galactic civilization and technology is gone, so unless you want a stone age simulator, any future games in the franchise will be prequels.

That's only the destroy ending. Just the relays are gone in all the other ones.

If they did make everything prequels, I know I wouldn't buy any of it knowing that it will all end the way the did. They even discussed it on Tunchanka, hope for the future is everything. If prequels are the future, we already know what will happen, and it's not something to hope for.
