I was wondering about the scene in the ending, where you see the crew of the Normandy walk out of the crashed ship.

In the "Destroy" variant of the ending, no synthetic should have survived. EDI is a synthetic. Has anybody seen her walk out of the ship in that variant of the ship crash scene? It would raise a lot of interesting questions.

Yeah, I know that she should be dead. However, I've heard that even in the Destroy ending sometimes she is one of the two crewmates who walks out of the Normady. Has anybody witnessed that happening?

Because... the ending is a lazily cobbled together, last minute atrocity?... just a wild guess.^^

EDIT: Yup, happened to me... rendom generated ending is just UGH...

Petty sure she does indeed die.

I did destroy on my first run, only Joker came out at the end. Reload the save and do merge instead, and EDI was with Joker.

On my destroy play Jeff/Joker walks out liara walks out then garrus...no Edi...generally Jeff walks out then Edi follows him.
=Edi dies...

Quite possible. However, it would raise a few interesting questions.

It's always EDI and Joker in the synthesis ending, plus your LI.

EDI sometimes walks out in the destroy ending because BioWare was really lazy.

These are not endings.. they are mess is what they are... they got then end and did not know how to end the series. So the cobbled together some weak wannabe High minded BS... that fails on so many levels.

Well, I read something which said Jeff + 2 squaddies you had best relationship rates with walk out in Destroy, so maybe there is a bug which allows Eeds to walk out in Destroy if she was your BFF even though she is supposed to be dead?

Did a destroy too and I had Jarvik and Garrus walk out with Joker. Funny thing is that Jarvik was in my final squad which makes me wonder how he ended up on the Normandy.
