Go replay Me2 - at no point does Samara say "as far as I know", you have merely invented that to be able to pretend that there is no retcon.

I literally wrote down her words while listening to her say them as I made my post.

Yeah, but you're making it out that somehow Samara wouldn't be someone who knows about Ardat Yakshi, so that her knowledge is not meant to be definitive. Her delivery is obviously meant to convey the notion that she is, while maybe not an expert, at least knowledgeable on the subject, and so the idea that there are 3 Ardat Yakshi in existence is meant to be taken as more than just the opinion of someone with a passing interest in the subject.

The only case I was making is that Samara might not have been upfront about all aspects of the AY at the time of that dialogue. At no point was I implying anything other than that. If you read anything else into my post, it was certainly not intentional on my part.
