okay, i know everyone is talking about the endings themselves, which i will refrain from doing because that wound is still far too raw. but i had a couple of questions regarding the logic of the endings. one, the reapers clearly managed to take control of the citadel (they move it to earth after all). wouldn't that give them control over the relay network. why didn't they just shut them down. war won! second, if we are led to believe that the catalyst is the citadel itself which has its own consciousness (correct me if i am misunderstanding this point), why would there be a need for keepers or an activation signal? if the citadel is, itself, self-aware, why can't it just open the relay to dark space anytime it wants to? any theories you guys have would be appreciated.

Because of plotholes. Hadn't thought about how the citadel didn't open itself for the reapers to arrive at the end of ME1sine the Citadel IS controlling the reapers so wtf?
