Reminds me of when DA2 came out and nearly every thread was about recycled maps or just how it wasn't like Origins.

With how many people complaining about it, making polls, etc. they should. But, uh, I guess we'll see. I'm hoping Shep passed out and it was some sort of indoctrinated dream. >.>

You know, the whole game is perfect! I love this game! It's a best game they ever made, but the last 15 minuts - they ruined everyrhing.

I hope BW take note.

Hey! What do we know about quality, or what we want in a story? In the face of 7625 registered game owners who don't like the ending, how can the Devs, writers, and 283 members who did like the endings possibly be wrong? Maybe bioware will partner with Netflix and Uwe Boll next.

Check out the single most voted on poll here:

Why would they take note? The only reason this forum is full of ending threads is because each and everyone of you has created 2 or more crying about how the story didnt end like YOU wanted it to. If you want that, i suggest you start creating your own games where you control the story, or maybe play some dungeons and dragons and get real close with the dungeon master...

I don't understand how they can take their most successful franchise ever and screw up something so important to it so badly.

I couldn't agree more. BioWare had one hell of a game going. It was tense, it was dynamic, it was awesome and then they bloody ruined it with that ending. I felt as if I really were in command of a warship in a major galactic fight for survival. I had no illusions about living through this fight, but I at least expected my death to count for something.

No matter what you do all of the mass relays blow and trillions perish or everyone in the galaxy is now stranded and re-made as an abomination in a move that can only be viewed as the rape of the individual, separating loved ones from their races and families forever. What this all boils down to is that the galactic war was just a giant sh!t sandwich and everyone had to take a bite. That wasn't the feeling I expected at the conclusion of this story.

And no, I don't believe that BioWare will fix this. They are just going to abandon it like they did with DA2 and drive on and that is the part that makes me angry.

Edit - added the text below:

I will also add that the foul up relating to the novel Deception also indicates that something has changed at BioWare.

but there's a difference with DA2. DA2 was completely failure. ME3 is epic IF you dont finish it.

We only need proper cutscenes and more options thats all.

They can make this DLC available for second play i dont care, if i'll have options i'll play one more time.

This.

I don't see what the big deal would be about changing the ending. It's like 5-10 minutes of dialogue/cinematics/cutscenes and a lot of people would be willing to pay something for better closure.

I hope Bioware does change the ending, because wow... what a kick in the quad.

Well we did pay the money for each one of these games to earn that right to complain to complain, just like you have the right to enjoy!. :)

We've always been in control.....

Bioware has ALWAYS shown that. Sometimes the dont change in ways that we like (like no inventory, or planet scanning in ME2) but they listened because WE ****ed about it.

They might not fix ME3s ending, but any other endings they have for any of their other games in the future WILL take this reponse into acount.

You think they'll ever recycle environments again? hell no, and thats because of US.

Recycling environments is it such a bad thing, if it is an area that's in a previous game in the franchise?.

I liked DA2...... i dint let Recycled environments stop me from enjoying the amazing gameplay and story, just like a bad ending doesnt stop me from enjoying the amazing gameplay and story in ME3

But Recycled environments the way they did it in DA2 is OBJECTIVELY a terrible design decision. And its because of US that they wont ever do it again.....

True, I was just curious because I didn't touch DA2 due to all the negative things most of my social circle were saying about it. I just got a little irritated because in a few different areas in Me2 and Me3 that you visit through out the first and second games are all different and just odd like I dont see the need to visit the exact same location in each game and have it look different and new every time, fair enough ME1 to ME2 because places like the citadel were damaged during the battle with Sovereign.

Check the poll, son.  It's the most voted on poll here, and currently 84% of those voting, (7749 votes at the moment)hate the endings.

13 % (1117) voters wouldn't if Shepherd were at least with his friends or love interest.

and a whopping 3% , at 286 votes actually liked the ending.

The numbers suggest that perhaps you've miscalculated.

Nah the numbers just show that most players (the casual players) dont go to forums.

Please also take note, that if the same exact topic keeps getting brought up over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again............

it gets like white noise to the writers and devs.

Note to mods: threads about the ending should be merged. It is extremely difficult to find any useful information about any other questlines with all the drivel about the ending when one hasn't gotten there yet.

They tried, but it feels like every single person who doesn't like the endings feels the need to start their own thread instead of posting in the ones availible.

BioWare, every single thread in this forum is about the ending... because most gamers are whiny kids/adults with parental issues.

I just noticed the 16,000+ post about the endings..... and the thing is that all the post say the same things. Am I the only one who is looking at my galaxy war assets map, seeing the devastation on every world, getting my ass chased in every system when checking for resources and barely escaping, and thinking "even if we do win this isn't going to end well"? Sh**. If I were Shepard, I'd be glad to be able to hunt and gather and live in a frelling grass hut afterward. It'll be enough just to be alive with enough people to propagate the species.
