I believe after the series of changes that underwent DA2 and ME2 and ME3 that if they do make an ME4 it will be a linear game, with a high concentration of call of duty styled multiplayer because it's apparently Bioware has been indoctrinated by EA, mean while fans of Mass Effect and supporters of bioware will complain about how terrible it is, Bioware spokes people will say stuff like "Don't be sad you have no idea about the variety of DLC we have planned though its mostly clothing items and weapons packs and the mission DLC packs just give you a small meaningless series of missions!." or "We haven't let EA sway our decision making in regards to our projects at all, after all playing as a character is still classed as role playing".

Sorry I just had to have a harmless rant about my lack of faith in bioware after EA clearly took the reigns on their decision making.

Oh goodness, I can't even think. If they do make another game, I hope they learn from this one. It wasn't a bad game. The ending's just ruined everything up to that point.

I hope they do one about the First Contact War, if anything. I'd love to be able to play as a turian or something -- when it's not just the multiplayer.

As I said it's just for laughs because you know with EA's track record of spawning sequel after sequel that well it's most likely going to happen!.

Well, they'll probably create an amazing and epic game, and this time make then ending one where you watch the devs and writers take turns putting a kitten in a blender while they laugh at you.

If there is a Mass Effect 4, I think it will have to be set in the past, *before* the story of Shepard and the Reapers.

Without the Mass Relays, the setting basically just becomes the same as any other generic sci-fi setting. Nothing interesting about that. And even with FTL drives, it would still take years to travel between systems. Not exactly conducive to a sweeping sci-fi setting.

Unless they make the next game be about trying to rebuild after the end of ME3. Not sure how I would feel about that, though.

The only thing they can do is a prequel. God I don't want to see this get the KOTOR treatment, and get a mmo next.

I could live with a prequel, but only if it's christened with a ritual sacrifice of everyone who contributed to or approved the ending of ME3.

I'll spring for the wicker man.

I thought it was Battlestar Galactica.  Or any other sereis with a Star Child/Ascension ending when the writers couldn't figure out what to do next or the budget ran dry.

There's no point for a Mass Effect 4! No Reapers! No nothing! It would have to be in the past of the game before Shepard. Some people try to think the ending of ME3 pointed to one more continuing storyline to Shepard, but if you really think about it, what is there left to do? The entire galaxy army fleet would be stuck on Earth, and I do see the long term affects that would likely happen on war on Earth against the other races, especially the Krogan if they populate so fast. That's if they even have females with them...

Mass Effect 3 ending was extremely horrid, poor, and just lazy. No explanations. No closure. Not even a decent story.

QUESTION
Does anyone else think that Bioware did the most retarded derpy derp thing in the end where the Star Child offers him the choice to control the Reapers and says...
Child: You can control the Reapers, but you will die
Shepard: But will they obey me?
Child: Yes
Something like that right? SOUTH PARK MOMENT!
Russians: We will blow up Snuke and be rich!
Kid: But you would die to!
Russians: Yes, but we'll be rich...
I mean seriously... what kind of writer can't see the stupidity of that? No point to control them if you are dead. Maybe one order? Still pointless

ME4 will star a new protagonist named Falcone and be set in a single city on a nowhere colony never featured before in the series. And Liara will turn up alive even if the entire team died in ME3, because her plot armor is just that thick.

Falcone can either be a Soldier, Engnieer, or Vangaurd though be warned you have to hide your biotic abilities since they are considered too dangerous to be used.  In addition Falcone likes to put husk blood on his nose.

 I haven't laughed since beating ME3.

Even after seeing all the "crying" and "anger", and all the funny reactions. I honestly have not laughed. Wasted so much time in this universe, planned on making a fan comic.. I can't believe this.

that god child thing in the end, isn't that the same character as that kid in that 80's film that Eddie Murphy stars in "Golden Child" or something similar?.

This made me laugh. Thanks for making me laugh.

I think I will go see if that movie is on Netflix for a laugh.

I would be annoyed if they released a new series based on a prequel, that ship sailed long ago. There are a lot of options for potential sequels, it is a large and vast/dangerous galaxy out there. Sur the Reapers where the main focus of Shepard's series but that doesn't mean it ends there. What happens when the races come together agian? War like that will change a society so would be interesting to see how the Asari have handled it, what about the Taurian's did they manage to Pal and if so how are they getting along with the Krogran? Really the door is open for some interesting game ideas and the only thing we know for sure is, no Shepard.
