They won't admit to it, they will defend their version of the ending and blame the complaints on a small % of their fan base.

I completely swear to god I will never purchase another product they produce in that case.

to be fair. They (by the preorder estimates) totally made their money already. There is no incentive for them to do it much less for free unless they really care about the fact that it seems a lot of people are completely livid about the way things turned out.

I seriously doubt that they are that cynical and thats certainly not how you run a business. They are not stupid, they know that the people buying ME3 is their market for future games, so they would never strive to make a dollar now and lose 20 down the road. Computer games are highly based on their fanbase and they will do their best not to leave people feeling alienated. That being said, they have the right to disagree with our opinion of the endings or the game in general. That doesnt make the greedy or sellouts

Maybe I'll buy DLC for ME3, but never preorder again...

Got me once, shame on you (C&C4)... Got me twice, shame on me (ME3)...

If they fix the ending, i'll be a happy customer of BW and will buy other games, dlcs, more than this, this will prove that they can listen fans, and they can change the course of game because of us.

This will make BW bigger in front of other devs who dont give a damn about their fans.

If they just sit down and tell us why they did what they did, I'd be happy. I just want to know who thought such an open ending was a good idea

I honestly am curious. If they come out in the coming weeks and admit that yes, they made a mistake, they will do what they can to make it up to the fans. Will you be able to set your frustration aside and refrain from torches?

Personally it would restore some faith i have, and would set aside judgement till i finished the new product. What about everyone else?

Not in the least.  I spent hundreds of dollars on this trilogy (DLCs and Games), spent hundreds of hours playing doing different play-throughs with different decisions so that I could import different scenarios into the final for different experiences and gameplay.

Based on the excellent value of ME1 and ME2, I trusted Bioware to reward me, Shepard and all his companions with a glorious and Legendary victory.

Instead, I got companions killed off, shepard killed off, most of my long played hours of decisions disregarded, a universe sent back to the 20th century, and nothing.. I mean nothing of closure for all the heroes that accompanied me throughout the serious.

Will I be happy.. hell no.  The endings they forced on me have really, really crushed my enthusiasm.  I feel utterly and totally betrayed.

You can not fix the mental and emotional hurt that they put on us already. (and yes.. I mean that.  Some will say.. it is just a game.. but, this was more than that.. it was an investment of personal time, emotion and energy)

If they do attempt to make some kind of fix.. they certainly better ot even think of charging money for it... that would be the final insult.

I think your perspective here is a bit wrong. Let me explain why. If BioWare would make a good game, what would we win by not buying that game? Nothing. It wouldn't make BioWare to fix this game, and we would lose a source of fun. Boycotts from this perspective doesn't make any sense. But why would we boycott BioWare then? What would be the point?

I can point to 3 different things.

First of all: We all blame BioWare because the ending only. But I think BioWare just failed to prepare for our decisions. And if it is a trend that also effect their other games (SWTOR for example) it would be hard to expect different performance from their next game. If I expect problems, expect to be unhappy it will be hard for me to fully enjoy the game. With good patches, maybe a good DLC, good patches in SWTOR it is easy to fix this.

If we are happy with service it is easier to enjoy the game, if we aren't it becomes a lot harder. Fixing the ending is a good thing, but I am unsure how I will feel about Origin, or about Bioware support (see SWTOR). So it depends.

And third: I think it is hard to expect preorder for any next product until we see reliable performance. So I think a lot deends on how those next games will look like.
