1. I found out one of my programs was blocking EA servers IPs so I disabled that. Peerblocker is the program. Make sure it is disabled.
2. I also went to my bioware profile and found out the game wasn't yet registered so I did that.
3. I also had Windows Firewall Entry tweaked so that it allows all forms of Connections in and out. Had to do this using Advanced settings in Windows firewall.
4. Then i noticed something interesting. I was at EA game forum and found out from faq that game will not work if you don't update it. So using Origins I right clicked on game and it found an update that was downloaded. For some reason after first updates the game stops automatically looks for updates and doesn't install them. 5. Had no issues with host file so that wasn't issue. if you do I would find out how to tweak it and do it properly.
6. Went through MassEffect3Config and setup my settings there. After all was done I was able to connect to EA servers.
