Do you think that Bioware will end up creating the new endings?

However we can keep screaming and kicking until the end like Shepard should have.

I seriously doubt Bioware will redo the ending, I don't think EA will let them. If the game doesn't sell well enough due to word of mouth about the ending, then EA will simply drop the DLC plans and cancel any future ME games. If the game sells well enough, EA will have Bioware produce DLC's that bring in the most bucks. If those DLC's don't sell well enough, see my point above about canceling the series.
It would be utterly stupid to cancel a bankable franchise only because they didn't want to fix a minor plot problem... They're not stupid people.
I believe they'll just come around in next DLC. Maybe this was just a cliff-hanger...

That said as much as I like Bioware I don't think they have exhibited any substantial form of supporting the fan community in the past or listening to them for that matter. Its not actually surprising to see a huge ****storm on social.bioware after one of their games releases, but never anywhere near this extent.
Im pretty confident Bioware will address this issue, they sort of have to. Public opinion does matter and this is something that the majority of fans here care about. Now whether or not this response will lead to DLC or alternate endings is another matter. At this point I can see it go either way.

Seriously though, I don't see them doing a new ending, and would we even be happy then? Would it flow? I don't know if they can. I'm afraid all we're going to get is a PR speak that boils down to "Shut up and deal with it"... then again my faith is really shot to hell now.
What they REALLY need to do, is if they can't touch up the ending at least, is tell us what they may not want to: Their plans for the next Mass Effect. They're going to have to do something to restore our hope. Knowing there was going to be a ME3 made it easier to get over the saddness of beating ME2... then again, ME2 didn't completely rip apart the galaxy.

Bioware loves DLC.
They get to overcharge you for a product that takes you about an hour to finish.

They're gonna pretend that the issue doesn't exist, and I'm pretty sure they've already made enough money off ME3 to not care about the opinions of a "few" rabid fans.
The only way this will come back and bite them in the a%# is If this incident actually affects the sales of their next game.

If they don't have one planned, I won't expect anything. I'll just have to attempt to get over it.

No.
The endings are done. They are fine in my opinion, we don't need a fairytale ending.
I would like to have one illogical issue to be fixed though, characters showing up on the Normandy who have no real way of being there. That was a major oversight in my opinion.
I'd also like to have an explanation of what the Normandy was doing there at all, as it didn't make sense to me either, but honestly I don't see it happening.
"We" dont? Maybe you, and some others dont.
Some of us would like the happy happy ending, and for less than it costs in Vegas.

And green space magic Synthisis isn't from a fairy-tale? Not only does your point not address our concerns, but is it completely invalid in and of itself.hawat333 wrote...

On topic, I think they will. This is an unprecedented push-back regarding a fixable issue.

As Forbes has pointed out several times on its site, future finances will be affected by this. A lot of people won't be buying DLC as they don't see a point, and a lot of people are going to be skeptical of whatever new IP BIoware is working on.

Fans calling for new endings are indoctrinated... Hold the line Bioware it's for the future of Mass Effect. They need to get past the terrible twos at some point in their life.. Now is a good time.
They will find out that their thoughts were clouded by Harbinger at a later date.
Husks will be husks..
:police:Hold the line Bioware!!

Frankly, I have little hope that ME3 will be fixed, but I do have hope that the fan outcry will make EA re-evaluate some of its policies.

Twice... it's a coincidence... (SW:TOR)
Three times... it's enemy action. (ME 3)
