He has a shop in the market district. Wade's Emporium. Really hard to miss.

I've been in there before, but I never realized he could custom make armor, I guess I just wasn't paying attention...Posted Image

I hear the Medium version actually drops your fatigue penalty into the negatives.

Yup, I can confirm that.  The Medium armour has a moderate fatigue penalty but the set bonus was -25% (!!!) fatigue.  Considering that the Heavy and Massive version has only -10% fatigue, it could be a data entry error made by the coders.

For my female rogue Noble, my tank Alistair already donned the Juggernaut armour and I was fooling around with making Wynne an Arcane Warrior just so she could wear real armour.  When I realised the medium armour actually grants a good deal of stamina/mana to the wear, I got Wynne to wear it.  The 70% fire resistance is good too - I won't have to worry about her dying to some silly fireball mage anymore.

I thought the Heavy version had -20% Fatigue modifier?

Superior drake skin =/= Dragon skin (Made with the High Dragon scale)

Why am I not being understood? :[

Pay for the first, regular DRAKEscale armor, 10 Gold.  Then he will moan and make you another, superior set, no need to pay.  Then you can bring him a DRAGON scale and make whatever kind of armor and it will be SUPERIOR.  I believe you only need to pay him once, so if you forget to pay the 10 gold you can pay the 20 gold the second time, as long as you pay him once you will get the Superior DRAGON armor.

dragon scale isnt "3rd dragon armor", thats why you arent getting understood. you can build it after the first set of drake scale armor. if you pay 10g for the first time everything else will be superior after that. it doesnt matter in which order you get him to make the superior sets.

On a separate note, anybody find it rather amusing the fire resistance is completely useless since you have to beat the High Dragon first then get the armor.

Not really, I still got to go after Flemeth. My first char had a tough time because Flemeth kept breathing fire over Wynne, taking her out early. With Wynne wearing dragonscale, that threat is largely reduced, as well as danger from fireballing mages (if I don't shut them down quickly).

For the Dragonscale-bone armor to be superior you either make it after the FIRST Drakeskin armor and must pay 10g, so that it AFTERWARDS becomes superior.
Or you make it after the 2nd/superior Drakeskin armor and pay 10g, so that it AFTERWARDS becomes superior.
DONT PAY both times! You will just waist 20g.

The possibility of crafting Scalearmor earlier is just for someone who hasnt found all 6 Drakeskins.

Who wont wear that stuff and wants just free gold should pay nothing. The last armor wont be superior, but the 10/20g will be waisted, because you wont get more money out of a superior version, then from the norma one.
