My flashbacks were Joker, Anderson, and Ashley (LI).

I took Ashley and Garrus on the final run.

Joker, Ashley, and James walked out of the Normandy.


The same thing happened on my replay, except Javik stepped out instead of James.

The last flashback was supposed to show the LI. But they had some technical problems and could only get Ash & Kaidan's flashback to work (and these 2 indeed do work) before going gold, so they set Liara as default for everyone else. It will PROBABLY get fixed in one of the patches.

for me it was Joker, EDI, and Steve.

Steve was my LI on the last playthrough so that is probably why. 

On my first playthrough it was Joker, EDI and Garrus (had no LI)

on the second it was Joker, EDI and Ashley (Ashley was LI)

Oh..this was for gilligan's planet, not the flashback. the Flashback has always been the same pretty much on all three playthroughs.

It's always Joker, Anderson, Kaidan/Ashley, and Liara, unless you romanced one of the latter two in which case it ends with them.

Even with everything else that's wrong with the ending, I'm still bitter about that since I romanced Tali.

I romanced Kaidan and got him on the flashback.

Apart from Jocker and Anderson, there's only Kaidan/Ashley and Liara files for the flashback.

Well, you can see Kaidan if that was your love interest. I wish we could have Tali and Garrus, however.

This should definitely be fixed (along with all of the other problems the ending is infested with). Until then, you can always mod it.

I get the impression it's supposed to change, but doesn't under most circumstances. Beyond that it's probably her by default because almost everyone else can die.

Yes. WHich is why it may likely get fixed in a patch, since it was their intention to show all LI.

About the "flashbacks"....i understand Anderson, the rest just seem random.

What exactly determines the people coming out of the ship anyway? I know joker always comes out, then he is followed by your LI. What determines the third person? In both my playthroughs I got Javik coming out of the normandy with my LI and Joker. I wish to change this in my next playthrough.

How can someone be that lazy? It's a videofile which needs to show when a certain flag is on.
What the hell is so difficult about that?
