I am encountering a consistent problem where as soon as I select a dialogue option (literally the instant I click the dialogue choice), or as soon as it returns to action after a dialogue sequence, the game turns into a slide show.

This does not happen during every dialogue, but probably one out of six all the way through the game (not map specific).  I can alt-tab out of the game and it will go back to normal most times, but the dialogue / story moment is missed.  After the dialogue I can some times escape to the menu and return and this will also return things to normal frames per second, but not always.

I am running an i7 960, 6Gb of DDR and a crossfire setup of two 5870's.  All the Radeon Control Center options are set to defaults with vsync off.  Any help is appreciated, thank you.
