So going beyond what everyone knows and is mind blown about on how the hell does anyone, especially bioware, can come up with such a horrid ending. Let's point some obvious problematics issues with the end.
1. Shepard lives!
A: No, the fact is, you may have gotten the hint of Shepard surviving, but realistically he's wounds, unknown location, and the fact that you had to destroy all synthetic things including the synthetic in your own body from ME2, would pretty much mean all you're witnessing is Shepard suffering even longer before he's dies. Not a real pretty ending, really.
2. Mass Effect 4 hinted!
Mass Effect 4, as some think may come because of the "Star Gazers" has hinted, will make no sense whatsoever. There is nothing left to fight for, unless you want everyone fighting for control of Earth cause now apparently everyone is stuck on it. So unless they turn Mass Effect 4 into some Sims game then I don't see it happening on continuing the story of Shepard. Most likely, if anything, it would be during or before Shepard.
3. Romanced Ashley or Kaiden?
How f***ed up will one of those 2 be? I love you Shepard! You died on me once, and now you will die on me again. Shepard, you are Optimus Prime! You die and die and die some more, but you always some how come back alive!
4. Derpy Derp De Derp! Southpark humor in Mass Effect 3 ending?
Does anyone else think that Bioware did the most retarded derpy derp
thing in the end where the Star Child offers him the choice to control
the Reapers and says...
Child: You can control the Reapers, but you will die
Shepard: But will they obey me?
Child: Yes
Something like that right? SOUTH PARK MOMENT!
Russians: We will blow up Snuke and be rich!
Kid: But you would die to!
Russians: Yes, but we'll be rich...

mean seriously... what kind of writer can't see the stupidity of that?
No point to control them if you are dead. Maybe one order? Still
pointless.
5. Joker and EDI?
OK, anyone feel awkward on Joker's love towards EDI? I mean if she was like a terminator it would be more understandable but falling in love with something metallic or composite... Talk about desperate. No offense to anyone here. This wasn't a big deal with me, but a little weird.
6. Crew on Normandy in the end?
Apparently the writers or designers forgot that your crew was on the ground. How the hell did Joker get your crew, and those with you all the way to the conduit, in time and without being destroyed by the Reapers to begin to out run the explosion of whatever decision you ended up doing, just to crash land back on earth. How does Joker even survive? Seriously! He should have died in a crash like that in his body condition.
7. Races
So, apparently, we have to conclude that the Mass Relays were all destroyed and therefore leaving everyone stuck around Earth. So much for the Quarian homeworld! Everyone who was left on a planet will be stuck there and will not be able to FTL out. So now Earth is the refugee world for the entire fleet of forces you've collected. Therefore leaving a much bigger problems down the road... Might as well just had the Reapers collected you because likely they will end up destroying each other in the name of survival for their species.
8. Star Gazer Father, what he should have said...
Father: Son, do you see those stars? Once there was a great series. The game was great! Then the last 10 minutes ruin the entire series.... Never do drugs son... Never do drugs! The guy who created that ending had to be extremely high. Monkey's going crazy jumping on the computer could have done better. I will tell you what should have had happen to Shepard...
Son: Father! Was Shepard really Adrian Shephard from Half-Life Opposing Force who came out of detainment from the g-man to save mankind and the entire universe from the Reapers?
Father: Yes, my boy!
Anymore problems you've all notice other than the obvious let down things?
