THERE ARE SPOILERS BELOW THIS POINT.

Ok,
so like so many, I too was disapointed with what we were given by ME
3's last ten minutes.  After what was the greatest game I have ever
played and the best story I ever heard, I just couldn't let it end like
that. so...

My idea;

You ride the platform up the
platform, a dead or unconcious Anderson riding beside you.  When you
arrive the Catalyst tells you that you have come farther than any
before, that you have proven that the cycle is truly broken.  He offers
to elaborate on how this came about (who built the Reapers, why this
cycle had to be done, why it can't continue) then tells you that there
is no choice to be made here.  That you've already made all your
choices.  And the only thing left to do is live with them.
The
Citadel, with the Crucible attached, sends out a signal to all mass
relays at once that renders the Reapers dormant and defenseless.  At
Sol, the fleet tears into the Reapers like nothing before.  We get to
see some nice cutscenes of the fleet we built ripping apart the Reaper
forces.  On the surface of every world we see the defenders push back
against the husks.
Back on the Citadel, things are exploding, the
Catalyst explains that energy to activate the Crucible will overload the
station in seconds.  Shepard will be killed.  The Catalyst tells
Shepard that the future is uncertain now, that without their guidance,
NO ONE knows what will happen.  The glass in front of Shepard explodes
and he is thrown without a suit into space.
We watch from his eyes the chaotic battle around us.  This song begins to play.  (feel free to play it as you read if you like.)

We see flashes of what the galaxy will be, a result of our choices.  (Using my playthrough as an example)

A Krogan helps a wounded Turian to his feet.
Geth and Quarians work together to resettle Ranoch.

Shepard
watches a squadron of Turian fighters blast by.  Together they pin down
a Reaper destroyer and tear it apart like hungry wolves.

A new galatic hub is built with an embassy for every race.
The Rachni walk the halls its halls, replacing the keepers as galactic hub's new caretakers.

Shepard
sees a pair of Reaper capitol ships that are gutted by repeating
dreadnought fire.  Huge chunks of metal and ceramic blow apart, fires
erupt and are rapidly extinguished by the vacuum of space.

Earth
is shown after the invasion.  It is scared, broken, but unbowed.  It
will be rebuilt, and better than it was before, with the scars to remind
its people of the terrible price they once paid for life to continue.

Shepard
watches as Harbinger, oldest and strongest of the Reaper fleet somehow
briefly overcomes the shutdown signal, it charges toward the human
fleet.  Hackett's flagship fires round after round at nearly point blank
range but the old machine keeps coming.  It's will is a dark and
terrible thing, a relentless hunger for death.  It's deadly weapon glows
like a bright red eye.
The Destiny Ascention rams Harbinger at
maximum speed.  The two leviathan's collide and compress into a single
twisted wreck of ruined metal.

Spectre Ashley Williams/Kaidan Alenko is honored by the Turian councilor.
Liara stands beside her father as they walk the surface of Thessia.
Garrus stands alone on a platform, finally accepted by his people.
Tali is chosen as the Quarian Ambassador.
Wrex and Bakara lead the Krogan horde into the city of the ancients, finally restoring their lost culture.
Miranda and Orianna embrace and sit down to a meal with Orianna's parent's.
Jacob and Brin look down on their new born child.
Jack playfully shoves one of her students.  A smile lights up her face the entire time.
Grunt stands imobile on Tuchanka.  Behind him a huge statue is being errected in his honor.
Kolyat stands at Thane Krios' grave, beside it is another belonging to his wife.  Kolyat reads from the prayer book.
Samara holds her daughter close in the monastary on Thessia.
A circle of geth stand before an enormous pillar.  On it is one word, written in every language, Legion.
Kasumi shakes hands with the Salarian Councilor.  As they walk away she holds up a stolen wallet.
Zaed stis at a bar, a lit cigar in his mouth and an Asari on one arm, and a human girl on the other.
Javik, performs the last rites for the Prothean dead.
James Vega, with an N7 patch on his armor leads his own squad.
Joker and EDI have a quiet picnic on Earth, before them sprawls a single untouched meadow.

Shepard is losing conciousness now, his body succuming to the cold and lack of oxygen.  His eyes are filled with Earth as he slowly falls into it.

The images come faster now.  Each one a bare flash of the hundreds of lives Shepard has touched.
Conrad Verner miraculously still alive.
Shiala and the colonists.
Gabby and Donnely and Adams working together.
Coporal Toombs receiving care.
Aria back in Omega.
Dr. Chakwas performing surgery

The images are a blur of people and structures.
Cortez
Traynor
Dr. Michel
Kelly Chambers
Barla Von
The person you left on Virmire.
Eden Prime
Feros
Noveria
Ilos
A relay
The Normandy SR 1
Illium
The Normandy SR 2
A beacon
Omega
The Collector Base
Sovereign
The Citadel

Earth fills Shepards vision.  He closes his eyes and the music stops.

(And for those that MAXED OUT the war assets and filled the reputation bar.)

The Mass Effect 1 Theme plays.

Shepard's eyes shoot open.

Joker pilots the Normandy into position.  The hangar opens and Shepard is scooped inside.

(Depending on choice)
Shepard is seen with LI or being honored as the next human councilor.

To Bioware

OK so that's what I want.  Get to it.

Seriously, you wouldn't even need any new voice acting or to pay for new
music.  Just a few lines from Shep's actor/actress and a use the music
you already own.

Come on guys, you created the best game ever, I
actually called my brother on his vacation to tell him to absolutely buy
this game.  Then when I beat it, I called him again and made him
promist that he would never, even play it.

It is IMO the perfect
game except for the end where you try to shove philosophy and futuristic
ideas down our throats instead of just giving us the results of our
epic journey.  Someone said, it's not the destination it's the journey.  Maybe that's true, but the destination is a part of the journey.

I want to take this journey again and again, just like ME 1 and 2 and I can't if I know that I'm journeying straight to hell.

To the other fans who were disapointed, I
like the idea of a new ending like the one I have described, one with
NO choice, but instead all the actions you have contributed over the
course of three games add up to form a heart warming and tear jerking
montage with music and no dialoge.

Obviously there will be
variation, for instance if you chose to kill the council, perhaps
humanity will become the dominant power and form a new galactic hub on
Earth.  Perhaps the Krogan die off and Tuchanka is a silent grave.
Perhaps any number of things.  The point is, this ending is simple,
complete, and would give many of us the closure we cannot live without.

To
the moderators.  Yes I know, no spoilers in this section, BUT I can't
post in the other sections for some reason, so I posted this here.  If
you do shut me down.  PLEASE at least tell me how to post in the other
sections.
