... I was imagining all the surviving races that fought near and on Earth try to live together on it, since they're all stuck there, thx to the destruction of the Mass Relays...

those who are wont be killed by not having an environment.
You think any volus are going to survive? their stuck in their suits with quarians now, forever.

The Turians are screwed--no food.

or that Turians and Quarians are going to run out of food.

Hope you brought the Quarians otherwise the Turians are screwed.

The Sol relay also exploded, so Earth is gone anyway.

If you haven't killed the geth, they probably help and live with the Quarians.

What did I miss about the Turian diet?

I was thinking more about my stranded crew who won't ever see Earth again than the surviving races.

The quarians will not have anything to eat, though. And they'll starve.

Turians and Quarians can eat each other ~

Well, they converted their liveships into battleships, so there is at least a small amount of viable dextro food production available.

Even worse what about the Krogan? 5-10 yrs and earth is overrun with Krogan.

Assuming they werent destroyed in the battle, which is a big assumption considering what big targets they are.FuzzyFreaks wrote...

I cant imagine they brought female krogan with them, so more likely they will slowly die off.tekkaman fear wrote...

Doesn't matter. Live ships, the ships that made the food, were left at Rannoch. Only military vessels were brought

well the normandy barely survived that explosion from the relay and they were able to crash land. right? so what are they telling us? the entire war asset fleet you brought, they all safely crash landed too? lmao. i ran maybe 100 different scenarios through my head of possible ****ty endings and none of them come close to this poo. bioware has trolled us all.

I know the ending is vague in such a way that it has several unfortunate implications, but I doubt it was that dark. Every relay exploding would wipe out most if not all life in the galaxy.Superninfreak wrote...

The quarians are pretty much doomed one way or another though. The homeworld is clear on the opposite end of the galaxy, so even if you assume that they could eventually make it home on FTL power, they still have a long way to go and I doubt that they brought supplies for that kind of a voyage to an all or nothing battle.
If you brought peace to the geth/quarian war, Tali mentions that quarians have started uploading geth programs into their suits, so do the suits just shut down if you take the destruction ending? The synthesis ending is enough of a Deus Ex Machina that it's reasonable to assume that things will maybe work out, but that's the only good news.

No.. Crashing an asteroid into a relay is different from one overloading.Superninfreak wrote...

still not sure why everyone is pondering about how the quarians will go on. pretty sure they're all dead. that blast took down the normandy sooooooo... yeah. gg quarians.

You guys do realize its possible to synthesize all the different amino acids right? While it might not taste good, I imagine Earth would be able to synthesize some turian/quarian appropriate food, so at least a few turians and quarians might survive.
^ That was because, apparently, Joker fled from the battle and was in mass relay transition when the relay blew.

All the Reapers and organic ships that went kaboom in low Earth orbit, and potentially the Citadel itself. That's enough space junk added to an already-clogged exosphere that without decades of cleanup space travel to, form and through LEO is going to be nigh impossible. Ooh, and all the eezo that was released due to drive cores exploding and ships disintegrating...anyone else remember what happens during in utero eezo exposure?
