My advice to you all? Enjoy the game for what it was. Take a breather away from BSN and anything BioWare-related for the next long while. Focus on something else. Go back and enjoy your real life for a bit.
Because, no matter what, the ending will not be retconned. There isn't going to be any post-game DLC, all of the DLC that will eventually come out are either character appearance packs or missions that take place before the ending.
There is no point in wasting time convincing BioWare or EA to do otherwise - their silence tells us that they don't care. Why should we? ME3 was an unmitigated success with critics and mainstream gaming audiences alike. Only a small minority - big BioWare fans - think otherwise.
I'm done with Mass Effect - probably for good. I've uninstalled ME and ME2 from my computer and have placed them into a Steam category that is full of games I no longer play. I will keep ME3 around for one final playthrough in the future and the occasional multiplayer match.
I'm not necessarily angry with BioWare - just deeply disappointed. It was clear that they ran out of money towards the end and decided to finish it within the confines of the budget that they had left, which resulted in the rather incomplete and incoherent ending we see today. However terrible the ending was, ME3 doesn't warrant a boycott of future BioWare games from me.
Nonetheless, I loved Mass Effect 3. It was almost perfect and stands as the second-best BioWare game I have ever played - pity the ending was so weak.
