I bought ME3 from Origin, and so far my experience has been a very frustrating one. I also have the From the Ashes addon installed.

Since I started playing my game will randomly crash, giving me that "the program has stopped working" message and closing itself. Sometimes the message is visible, sometimes it just freezes and I have to alt tab to see it. The times this has happened are numerous: sometimes it crashes as soon as I double click the icon to launch the game; then next time I try the program runs, I click "Resume" and it will crash as soon as it was about to finish loading my save; sometimes it crashes when I'm switching areas, like going from one Normandy level to another or one Citadel zone to another; sometimes it crashes I'm moving around in a mission.

Interestingly enough, I did a ME marathon before starting ME3. I played Mass Effect without any issues, but Mass Effect 2 (Steam version) was also very unstable.

So far here's what I've tried: disabled Origin ingame; set affinity to run with only 2 of my processor cores; set the game to run as an administrator; reinstalled DirectX 11; reinstalled Adobe AIR; updated graphics card and sound card drivers; updated the game; ran Origin's repair feature; ran RAM tests; prayed.

My system is:

Windows 7 64bit
Intel Core i5 750
GeForce GTX 560 ti
16GB DDR3 RAM
120GB Corsair Force 3 SSD
2TB Samsung HD (2x1TB)
Motherboard Intel DP55WB

Right now I'm redownloading and then going to reinstall both Origin and ME3, which is about the last thing I can think of doing. Does anyone else have any ideas?
