He has funny dialog with Morrigan. He gets outpaced fairly quickly however. In Brian's above example you could stick anyone in that 4th slot and they would = weapon.

Hmmm so I took the telekinetic weapons on my mage PC for forcefailed & imbaprison, and morrigan starts with some cold spells. Should I give Wynne the fire line then ?... hmmm... *devises new party build*

I'd rather have him as a party member so I can have him and a ranger pet.  On the PS3 version, I can only have one ranger pet out at a time for some reason.  Is it the same with the PC version?

I'd rather take Sten - more meat on him

Also, I'm not sure Gray Wardens would be adversely affected by eating darkspawn since they're made immune to the taint by the Joining...

I think he means if he didn't take up a slot (ala Mage/Ranger summons)

Will definitely try that.  Was wondering who my 4th party member should be for MagePowah play through.

Mind you, I haven't tried it out yet (need 1 or 2 more to get Wynne to have Telekinetic weapons), it was one of those "I wonder what would happen if..." conversations that popped up one day.



Sure you could go for some other party formation, but it's one of those scenarios where you do it for the laughs and possibility than how viable it really is. =)

My mage loved it when I went to talk to him in the chantry in redcliff and the dog peed in an out of the way spot.

I had the impression that the slightly bigger base size of the dog created a lot of problems for the pathfinding AI... Dog would often just stand still, doing nothing, because he couldnt find his way past a companion.

3 mages means no tank, you just CC everything on the planet at once.

or you just tank as arcane warrior specced mage

LOL, who needs a tank or healer, I hate those concepts anyway...I promoted dog to be leader of the pack; he leads the wolves (or bears when the wolves die) of my pc, Leliana & Zevran into battle and he does a great job doing so!

You know, my dad and my brother ask me what's special about my dog all the time. He's my dog... can't help it, I love him. The only difference between my dog in RL and my dog in the game is that my RL dog attracts tons of awesome agro from girls. Dog in game seems to not attract any.

There's nothing about the dog to dislike unless you're obsessed with spreadsheet game playing. He's a useful, fun traveling companion and every party probably would have one, if just as a tagger-on.
