Hellos!
I was wondering if there is a way to save Mordin (my favorite character) when trying to cure the genophage? I've read online that wrex can't be alive and that you've had to destroy maelons research in order to save him. For me, Wrex survived on virmire in mass effect 1 and I destroyed maelons research in mass effect 2. Is there no way for me to save Mordin now in mass effect 3? It's either Wrex or Mordin?

i think its either wrex or mordin.
you could do that the dalatrass says and lie about the tower. therefore mordin doesnt go up there to fix it.

No, Wrex survives unless you sabotage the genophage. He becomes extremely angry at you and, unlike Virmire, he's not going to back down this time.
Mordin dies no matter what. He has to. Anyone else fixing the cure could get it wrong.

Mordin, like the diplomat thought, detects it and will still go up to fix it.

It's either Wrex or Mordin?
You have to get Wrex killed on Virmire and dont do the loyalty mission for Mordin in ME2.
Then you can save him.
You can also get both killed if you stop Mordin to cure the Genophage and dont stop Wrex to kill you after that.
You can't save both.
So at the end we have 3 casualties no matter what in ME :
- Wrex/Mordin in the Genophage cure
- Ashley/Kaidan on Virmire
- Kirahe/Thane against Kai Leng

I edited.
If you go see Thane before Cerberus attack Citadel he got killed by Kai Leng. I you dont its Kirahe who get killed and Thane die from disease.

Revo: Kirrahae steps up in that scene if Thane's already dead. If both are already dead, rumor has it that Kai Leng succeeds.

Dont have to : just edit your save file from ME2 with ME2 Modified Gibbed if you really want to save him.

Dont have to : just edit your save file from ME2 with ME2 Modified Gibbed if you really want to save him.
I assume that only works for PC? I'm playing on Xbox :/

But Mordin is ok with dying. He accepts it. Its a good death. His was the one death in ME3 that I was ok with.

- I saved mordin, with no save file so i had no Wrex and no data, he says it was a mistake to kill himself he was just too quick to make amends for the genophage and goes to help on the crucible, he also looks forward to running tests on the seashells.
- Played again with my save with wrex and data and no combination saves mordin, either i kill him so he can't save data or he kills himself and saves data. Or you come clean at any point about sabotage and he kills himself still to save data.
