On Tuchanka, when u emerge from the pitch-black tunnel and is treated to a breath-taking view of Krogan ruins.

 Best fun/happy moment: either when Tali gets drunk in the Normandy lounge or when I walked in on Garrus and Tali making out and they're like "oh...uh, I thought my claw got stuck in her helmet..." "and I thought I had a suit rupture, so I asked him to check..." "so..." "...yeah." LOLOL
Best sad moment: Either Legion or Mordin's death. For some reason I was more sad about Legion's, because he chose to sacrifice himself just after his "personhood" had fully manifested and he referred to himself as "I." "...They need me."  Never would I have thought I'd be so SAD at a robot "dying."

Best exciting/dramatic moment: The entire final mission to finish off the Reapers, right up until the line, "Best seats in the house." Made me tear up majorly :crying:

It's also the saddest moment for me, but Mordin's death was so......perfect. I'm man enough to admit that I cried. But it was good, because it was what I expected of the character. What I expected of the series.  It was thoughtful.  It was epic.

After the ending, I feel like it was all in vain. And it makes my frustration with the ending even deeper.

Legion's sacrifice and getting the century old answer from Tali was sad... but at the same time it was sweet because I had it so the Geth and Quarians stopped fighting and are now working together.

Also, Grunt surviving even though I seriously thought he was dead after dealing with the reaper rachni on his own. That was the most badass thing I ever saw.

I got the "That was for Kirahe" version of the line (since Thane was the only one who didn't survive my suicide mission on my first playthrough), and I still jumped out of my chair and did a fist pump.

The cutscenes of the battle for earth, everything form the ships coming into the sol system, to them engaging the reapers. OF course i can't forget the marines landing on earth, that part was probably my favorite. It's always nice to see the common grunt fighting, the unsung heroes.
The renegade interrupt for kai leng was bad ass, especially how you break his sword.
Then every scene involving jack, as well as all the end conversations right before the final battle.

The conversations in this game were amazing. There were so many side comments that were easy to lose because they weren't cut scenes. I've forgotten some of them but off the top of my head:

1) The conversations between Liara and her father were priceless. The last one was one of my favorites (paraphrased):

Dad: I'm giving you a group of Asari Commandos.
Liara: Really?
Dad: Well you're too old for a pony.
Liara: You're the best dad ever.

2) Seeing Jack was great. I especially liked her interaction with a romanced Garrus. After hitting Shepard:

Garrus: "Still as charming as ever Jack."
Jack: "Bite me. Better yet, bite her. I bet she'd like it.

Shooting Mordin in the back. I liked him and was conflicted about it but Shep had to do what he had to do.

Again the quarian geth conflict and actually solving it. And taking down the Reaper ofc.

A close second finishing Kai Leng (or what the name was). He annoyed the hell out of me, slippery bstrd.

My favorite moment in all of Mass Effect? Thane vs. Kai. So much badassery I almost **** myself. Their war faces were so brutal that even Shep was in awe. Everything in the ME space/time continuum froze. Harby was assumed control of the sheer manliness. The krogan simultaneously had heart attacks in both their hearts. Twice. Those damaged walls and floors on the citadel after the showdown? Exploded from badassery overload. Chuck Norris and Garrus Vakarian were born as a result then instantly lived their lives up to that point.

Agreed, agreed agreed agreed. My favorite line in the game, and the most satisfying moment in the entire trilogy.

On a more cheerful note, walking on on Garrus and Tali. I cheered, then laughed and laughed. I totally knew they were into each other. Everyone always said I was silly for thinking that, I was just reading too much into things, but I knew they had a secret thing for each other!

Also, Tali being drunk. "How are you even getting drunk?" "Veeeery carefully."
