ME3 has bugs and problems in it, definitively. But that's like complaining that you have ants in your kitchen while the whole house is burning down.
Unseen on the BSN forums, one great thing

That's why everyone is so pissed it was an excellent game and an excellent series. What you are seeing on the forums is what it would like if at the end of Return of the Jedi Luke just keels over and you don't see the result of any of his work. If such had happened do you think anyone would remember how good the original movies were? Hell no everyone would remember how the last 10-15mins ruined the series. What makes it more painful is that we are given hundreds of choices and none of them matter in the slightest.

This is part of what makes the ending so frustrating. 99.9% of the time I was having a blast. I was emotionally invested, the action was fun, heck, I even got used to the animations that bugged me during the demo. I probably would have griped about the amount of auto-dialogue, but it would have been minor. It's really a testament to how monumentally disappointing the ending was. I mean, not only does it hurt ME3 but it hurts the series as a whole. Lots of great shows, books, etc. have ended poorly, but in this case I think it's a bit unique. We're constantly led to believe that all these choices we've made, sidequests we've uncovered, and relationships we've built would make a difference, only to have it come down to slightly tweaked versions of the same ending that vary only by a magic number and a choice made in a bubble.

There are flaws, the game is bugged as **** (nothing that can't be fixed with a quick update) the discs aren't organized very well (I'm sure I'm not the only one who felt like he had to switch them out every other ****ing mission) The armor doesn't load sometimes, the game freezes at certain parts, the way they do multiplayer servers is so balls its hard to describe. There wasn't a krogan squad mate (I'd like vega more if he was a krogan), none of the squadmates from me2 return to your squad except tali and garrus but they are old standbys and you can't get rid of the two coolest squad mates (asside from wrex) speaking of which why couldn't wrex return in this game I kept hoping it would happen but it didn't.
And yet despite all that, I was willing to call this the best game that I have ever played until the ending.

I agree that it is partly a matter of not noticing a flashlight because of the Sun, but even before the Guardian, I was immensely satisfied with the experience.
I don't think Cerberus was handled perfectly, but its arc was still enjoyable. Some of the former squad cameos felt a little forced, but I still could appreciate them for what they were. The fact that you couldn't see the stats of weapons before the bought them was annoying, but I still got to set them to to fit my preferences.
The ending just wiped everything I did away because of some Left-field Diabolos Ex Machina with crappy explanatory logic that broke away from every major established theme in the series.
