By the way... I am reading all of your thoughts. Just not ready to comment yet. via Twitter @GambleMike

Yeah, that's one of the reasons my friend used to convince me not to abandon Bioware. "They are reading the forums, give them a chance to mull it over and give a response. Then you can judge." Is what I was told. So I said "OK", and undeleted my saves

It's not perfect, but it's something. I expect some sort of official response sometime this coming Tuesday

This should prove one thing at least.
They ARE listening to us.
Also, the fact that they're not yet ready to give a response could also mean they're discussing what can be done.
Perhaps there IS hope afterall?

I think they are waiting for the WTFOMG #$%^storm to die down. While there is still anger on the forums people are starting to chill out and be more open minded about the ending.

Not that anyone should hold their breath for what the official comments might be. It'll likely be along the lines of "yeah, well, deal with it. Oh, and buy this awzum Omega DLC for $10, it's bananas!"

No, there's no way on Earth they couldn't have. I've been wondering if the ending we got on the disc is an elaborate hoax to avert leaks and spoilers from the script leak onwards, especially when it came to the pre-release piracy and the inevitable space edition leaks, and the game's actual ending is forthcoming as DLC through the Alliance network.

Developers and publishers have done more bizarre things to combat piracy and the resale market in the history of gaming.

They have to sit down and figure out how to spin this.

Maybe it factors in to some secret plan they have. They keep dropping hints that we don't know everything.

"Not ready to comment'? Too busy planning you last days as a writer of anything beyond horoscopes? Seriously though, I do feel bad for the guy a little bit. I've written stories that were criticized by a few people; what this guy is going through right now might warrant a name change...

i feel like, their anger is just turnung into depression. not many of the people I've seen are 'more open minded' about the endings.

What is there to be open minded about?

I'd just say keep the Geth and Edi alive in the destruction ending and I'd be okay.

I'm inclined to agree with this. I don't expect an apology, and if they try to do it, I expect it'll be spun in the same manner as their PR statements.

Short of a massive over all of the ending, not much can make up for it. To clarify to all new mass effect players, the first two have far better endings.

The comment wont be anything noteworthy, going to be a "deal with it" or "you just dont get what we were trying to say" moment. A "fix" is not coming.

By "open-minded", I'm pretty sure he just means "accepting".

And, no, I won't accept what they did. I may have to live with it, but I refuse to just accept it.
