GBGriffin that's exactly how I feel, I'm not going to accept the straight assimilation of such an amazing game series basses off of its finale 10 minutes, this is sheerly unacceptable

We'll see. I seriously doubt they will listen to their fans, unlike Bethesda did with Broken Steel. Something tells me EA is nowhere near as flexible as Bethesda.

Might have something to do with the fact that Bethesda has nearly always pulls a yearly profit, and EA doesn't.

But if ending DLC = more money then what's the issue?

Exactly, my opinion of Bioware will never be the same to charge for this but I'm so desperate to have a good end to this story that I will pay for it. EA gets their money so they can shut up.

Wow, poor Mr Gamble. He's cyber stalked by a horde of foaming-at-the-mouth berserkers, brandishing sharpens copies of ME3 and seeking an end. Or an ending. Possibly his.

Shame my copy is digital. Maybe I'll just rip the hdd from my rig instead...

Could cause some blunt force trauma with that... I learned that sentence from CSI... I r so smert.

I don't think they can fix this.

What I don't get though is this.. with the relays gone, Mass Effect as we know it is over. Now, why would EA let them destroy a franchise like that? It doesn't make business sense, it certainly doesn't appeal to the fans in anyway... its just stupid.

10200+ votes for the poll says that the ending needs to be changed. 10200 is $102k USD if they ever decided to make a DLC for the ending and we all were willing to pay 10 bucks. It should be free though since the ending we have is just TERRIBLE ON EVERY LEVEL.

Hey, in probably 5 years you can play Mass Effect MMO where you can collect the slimy remains of the stranded Normandy crew for 500 credits

I've been saying this exact same thing. It's honestly so difficult to believe that I can't help but think that they're going to release a patch of some sort to change/complete the ending.

Good that they're listening. Now they need to listen harder.

They can always rebuild. Apparently they can do whatever the hell they want since we have space magic, so don't worry, they'll milk it dry.

I hope bw is not trying to fight this with a war of attrition cos we will win. I hope they comment soon tho. Btw anyone else reminded of the beastmaster ending when they saw the leaves after the normandy crashed? I would have taken that any day.

well from what i saw in ME2 (how it started) i think they can do just about anything, esp after getting my war prep in the mid 90's. Puts me over the 5k mark in effective readiness. I hope that i get to see the vid of shep breathing, and either she gets to have that future with little blue children(in DLC), or somehow prepares for something else in ME4.

I mean...something created the reapers to do this. That avatar during the final missions left me with the impression it would do something else since the reapers no longer offer the solution to the organics vs synthetic life.

I would almost bet that with each DLC released, there will be an improvement to the ending. The "disney" ending will end up being only attainable if one purchases and completes all the DLC that is made available. Its a cheap marketing tactic but I wouldn't put it past EA.

Modifié par Natedog4337, 10 mars 2012 - 09:23 .

Curious that such a short span of time can so completely invalidate such a long investment of time on our parts. I'd be more angry if it didn't take actual skill to accomplish a feat of that magnitude.

The Citadel AI/Catalyst/Avatar is more than likely a VI of sorts left behind by the creators of the Reapers.

It even stats itself that Shepard was the first/only organic to get as far as he did.

Dont forget Prothean Scientists made their own mass relay (ME 1, The Conduit), so they CAN rebuild and the series can continue. Personally i would like a new spectre story (where you could choose between asari, salarian, human etc. as your race) with it's own more personal story instead of galactic doom again.

You can't accept serious plot holes so big you could fit the citadel through it like somebody else said.

But it was only a 1 way relay to the citadel, best option is to reverse engineer the FTL drives of the reapers and attach them to their ships to travel across the galaxy as fast as the reapers did in ME3.

There is no being "open minded" about these endings.

Right I took 6 characters to level 60 in ME1 for this? To have my decisions in all that time mean nothing? Sorry I will not be open minded, I'm not angry either merely VERY dissapointed.

I played ME1 twenty-five times.  I played ME2 maybe 10 times.  ME3- once.  I expected this game to last me all summer.  Now I can't stand the thought of playing it again.  That's beyond disappointed.

ALL the brightest minds in the Galaxy are stuck in the system they made the crucible in. GG to that.
