Better than ME2 at least.
But yeah, Liara scene >>>>>> Every other romance scene

And I'm not even a Liara fan.

I don't know about the other romances but mshep Kaidan was fine they roll around and make out before fading black, no reason for nudity there.

People seem to miss the whole point of "sex scenes" (some more than others)
It's not about 'jack off material' but rather what is expected of an RPG of this calibre, i.e tasteful nudity without unnecessary moral-fu**ing-police censoring...

Providing revealed abs, side-boobs or unclothed ass is not really *required* but it does display a level of maturity and commitment towards the fans. Compared to the ridiculous "OMG they are about to kiss lets black everything out to please censors scenes"

If there is anything I seriously hate, then it is apparent censoring.

I dont watch them for sex. I would rather them talk and fade to black then have some stupid part with them with underwear.... I want a believeable game how is underwear sex real?

I just watched the Liara scene on Youtube, and now I'm even more baffled by something.

They were willing to include Liara naked, but when Traynor uses Shepard's shower, she goes in wearing her underwear? What the hell?

Up to this point my mindset was, "If you don't want nudity or implied nudity in your game, that's fine, but then don't include a shower scene." Now I don't know what the hell they were thinking.

Clearly you all underestimate the capabilities of futuristic underwear. :P

I mean, do you seriously want to see Garrus naked?

Given how we seel little of Krogan or Turian anatomy because of the armor, I must admit I'm curious.

At least Quarian armor leaves little to the imagination.

Liara is Bioware's favourite, she always had special treatment.

It's not, but in the USA, even with movies, if a man shows his genetalia, you go from R to X rated.

ME did the scene right...never showing enough to get a glimpe of full frontal nudity.

ME3 could have done the same...always never shooting the scene from the waist down...or always when the backside was facing the viewer, but they didn't do that, so leaving underwear on was the only workaround.

Just be glad you didn't have the "sex with clothing on" debacle as was done in ME2.

Are people seriously jumping back to the need for a "sex scene"?

I know I'm spoiled because I romanced Liara, but the actual scene itself isn't the important part. If it is for you, I have this lovely thing I'd like to introduce you to. It's called the internet. It has all kinds of sex scene worthy stuff out there. You can Google for the rest.

But the way the romance with Liara evolved throughout ME3 was fantastic. From the time capsule to the little flirts and the deeply emotional parts after Thessia... It was just very tastefully done. The "sex scene" was emotional, not "sexy". Sure, it was kind of racy, but that was the least important part about it.

The fans of other romances should be upset, sure... but not over the lack of on-screen sex.

The fact that Liara was naked made the scene more tasty. You can't deny that, well... unless if you don't have a sexual drive.

Seeing two people having "sex" or making love with clothes on, completely destroys the atmosphere.

I recall there were news articles about the sex scenes in ME1. Some articles even seemed shocked at the possibility of "blue alien lesbian sex". This stupid news focus only serve as distraction. People who didn't know about the game just end up associating Mass Effect with sex scenes, as if that's how Bioware intends to market the game.

Bioware had to tone it down in ME2. I can't fault Bioware for wishing to do away with the pointless controversy and distraction. It's just the stupid media (and the people who keep tuning into and feeding those news).

Liara and the VS got the best treatments. In fact i would say Ashley probably has the best romance arc. And yes Liara got the ME1 treatment since we all know how Bioware plays favorites with her.

You people are aware that a certain degree of spooning in either clothing, undergarments, or partial dress is a very common thing before actually getting down to business, right?

What's that you say? You ARE aware of that?

...

SO WHY THE FRICK IS THIS A PROBLEM THEN?!

The Shepard and Liara scene was by far the best LI scene in the entire series. Aside from some epic "sideboob", the conversation before and after just made the entire scene work. I wouldn't complain about a bit of the ol' frontal nudity but i'm not going to rage because its not in there lol.

Great job Bioware!

I loved my Kaidan Femshep Scene, felt really gipped that I didn't get anything with Manshep/Jack.

If you're going to let us continue the romance at least a little lovin' would be nice.

I don't NEED a sex scene in a roleplaying game but I don't mind it either.

It can be done good and it can be done bad.

The Kaidan/mShep scene was amazingly well written and executed. I can't wait to see what Steve's is like. It's a game, you don't need to see polyboobs or anything else, the execution is what matters.

My only problem with the sex scene was the completely moronic inclusion of yet another non-skippable dream sequence. It was just a total mood-killer. Thankfully with Fraps I was able to capture all that and then edit out the idiotic dream. And it is SO much better without that slop in there.
Seriously, that dream in the sex scene needs to be chopped out completely and all the others need to be skippable.

No.

Watch porn.

I don't want to see anyone naked. Shirtless or underwear? Yeah. At least FemShep could've been in the Garrus romance...but I don't want to complain too much since most of the ME2 LIs were screwed over.

I am okay with the whole fading to back thing but it would've been nice if it showed them laying on the bed (or at least a gesture toward the bed) or cuddling or rolling around (like Ash apparently gets). This isn't asking for a lot and it certainly isn't porn.

And if they didn't show any of that, I would've at least been happy with a LONGER discussion before and/or after the romance/fade to black scene. Again, very simple and obviously not porn.

But again, Garrus didn't get the same treatment as Jacob, Thane, Miranda and Jack so I am happy about that.

I believe that anyone who doesn't have a Kaidan/Ashley/Liara Romance gets screwed. My default ManShep isn't gay, so scratch Kaidan, I couldn't stand Ashley, I practically jumped at the chance to nuke her back in ME1, and I don't find ANY Aliens attractive at all. I seriously wonder how anyone actually finds aliens attractive.:alien::sick:

I didn't need a sex scene with Jack. I wanted a completed romance. I wanted a real damn holocall before heading down to earth. One with a real convo wheel.
