It's not even about the sex scene it's about the fact that for 5 romances BioWare deemed them special enough to actually get a cut scene while the other half of the romances are lucky to even get a kiss, hell in some of them it's like they don't even acknowledge you're in a relationship.

Hell the only way to even get a kiss between Miri and Shepard in ME3 is to have her die.

I agree. Miranda's romance, while arguably the best of the ME2 continuations, is still crap. Just 1-2 tack ons to the regular conversation dialogue, and the only display of affection coming from her death scene.

What the hell?

As a Garrus fangirl I loved his romance.

However, his romance scene, as with Tali's is way too short. Especially compared to Liara's.And the other Me2 romances were completly neglected.

I get that Bioware didn't want to show alien skin or parts or whatever. But they could have, in lieu of that, had Garrus/Tali in more conversation/foreplay to make up for it. You can do  alot of things clothed. As it stands, it's a like a 30 second talk before the fade to black and the stupid ghost kid appears.

Or they could have changed the scene around completly as it compares to the humans/asari. Maybe Garrus and Femshep have that sparring contest he described in ME2?

What hurts here is that  all the romances get less/shafted compared to what Liara got, who was obviously the developers favorite. And that gives her a negative strike in my opinion, even though I like how she is in ME3.She gets all the extra fluff(as someone else said on the forum) while everyone else gets less than that, even the romances that didn't get shafted.

And like someone else said, it feels like if you chose someone other than Liara you get punished for it. Every romance should have been a Liara caliber romance. If they didn't want to put in the effort, then they should have not put in so many romance options and left it at Liara.

Pretty much anyone who didn't romance Liara got screwed. Thanks, Bioware. It's nice to know you don't play favorites.

I don't think those who romanced Tali got screwed.  Conidering if you romance her Rannoch is loaded with little extra bits because of that.  And the flirt scenes.  Sure there was no sex scene but there was enough of the rest that it wasn't a dealbreaker.

I agree this whole shower in your underwear/fade to black thing is just silly and breaks immersion. There's nothing wrong with tasteful nudity, it makes the scene more realistic and emotional. It's funny how Americans have no problem with shooting a guy in the face in a videogame, but if you show a bit of sideboob everybody freaks out.

Its not Americans that all have problems with tasteful nudity its the politicians war on videogames thats been raging ever since games were invented. It also becomes more political depending on whom is in charge and what the game companies employees vote if they vote for the party not in power the politicians also sometimes like to pull a chinatactics and crack down on said game company for its sex, violence, or endangering the minds of youth. So far they haven't won much but it won't stop them from trying, and trying, and trying. And the whole sideboobs thing was drummed up by an author who lied to fox so she could get on TV make a bunch of noise so she could sell her books so you can send her more hate mail if you can find her.

Also this whole my game has PGing because its the Americans fault is actually getting very annoying and offensive why do you keep blaming us for game made in CANADA? You do know we aren't Canada right? When a Japanese game won't get imported to the US at all because of its level of Japanese cultural wacky views I don't blame Europe for it. It's just how it is. BW can add in content for more nude friendly countries but chooses not to so that's not American's fault that's BW choosing to not add in more graphic images for its oversea's base.

The relationship got jipped in its quality and pacing not just the 1 second sex scene. Their relationship hinted at it was going to be very deep, rich, and filled with social issues and challenges then if fell completely flat on all that. They left out so much development for the most unique coupling in the  entire series and rushed it just to get the game done you can tell.

Why do people blame FOX News still? Not like Bioware didn't have the power to re-create the ME1-like scenes. They just chose not to because they were scared of further backlash. Fox wasn't the only media that "outraged" at it if you remember. They created the biggest fuss, yes but they weren't the only ones.

Anyways, I thought the scenes (from what I've seen on my playthrough with Ashley and the others on Youtube) were pretty good. Ashley, Liara, and Kaidan got the best scenes obviously but I don't personally have a problem with the fade-to-black (amazing song btw) either. I mean I don't personally care to see Garrus or Tali all out in the open and I would have serious concerns about Bioware's mental state if they essentially were creating alien porn. It's a little weird. Yes, Liara isn't human but she pretty much is aside from her head and skin tone so it's no different from any Star Trek's.

I haven't seen any of the SS scenes and I don't care to (I won't get into why. This is a games forum, not politics/religous) so I won't comment on them. Though, I did find it a bit weird that they essentially tried to force Cortez on me. I pretty much had to go renegade on him or I would get a priiize that I didn't want. Cortez seemed...stereotypically gay if there is such a thing. I mean wimpy, crying over an old recording, needing a "friend" to help him get through it, the comments from Vega about him "enjoying" the show of Vega doing pull-ups. It was a bit much actually I thought.

No.

Watch porn.

Damn, you are such a downer, aren't you?

If you'd rather go watch porn and whack off by yourself, no one's stopping you, but at least understand that others, especially gamer chicks, prefer something more in depth than that.

I know I would personally appreciate a more in depth scene with Garrus at the end...

Couldn't have put it better myself! I'm also a Garrus fangirl, and he's my FemShep's true romance, but it still feels neglected in comparion to Liara's.

And I would have considered mixing things up and trying new romances like Vega (who isn't even an option anyway) or Thane (who dies anyway), etc. Every romance should have been interesting, unique and worth a shot!

Hell, we should have been excited to try out each romance instead of be depressed because they all lack in comparison to Liara's anyway...

Traynor showering in her under clothes just broke the moment, cause I was too busy laughing about how silly it looked.

Thane's 'romance scene' actually was pretty funny in ME3. The option was to have some 'private time' and the way it was said made you think they would go somewhere private/to a room. Instead, they walk a foot towards the windows, make out in the middle of the hospital, and femshep has a mini orgasm.

But I later romanced Kaidan, as that was my only choice for a straight femshep, and the romance scene was done really well. It was romantic and tasteful, it was a nice scene, and no one was naked, yet it was still pretty hot.
