 Let's think about this...

FIve years of working on one sci-fi franchise which we all can agree that it is now one of the most anticipated fanchise in its genre.

BW is not stupid. They put 3 years for this conlusion... I am just hoping that this is not the end... BW couldn't have put this kind of ending to their most anticipated franchise. I mean, they know that people cared this so badly... and BW is goddamn god comapny... I am willing to give this guy a chance right now... the fact that I haven't seen a single blue post from the dev tells me there are something more than this...

the game is just too big

I hope you right. This is the first time I have been mad at Bioware.  I even defended the DA2's new direction, but this ending is not ok.

Please do convince me on this matter; how could any sane story-writer be satisfied with the endings they've came up with knowing so many problems exist within it? They've spent millions to develop this thing and this is the best they can come up with? I don't care about the lack of universal good-ending, but if I were one of them I certainly wouldn't be able to sleep well at night whatsoever out of sheer feeling of guilt and injustice I've done to the trilogy and the fans.

I was also one of the people that defended DA2...This however is unacceptable....

Dude they even did that freaking space edition stunt... to them this game is special and especially companies like BW, they know more than us when it comes to telling which is a good or bad game... let's clear our head people and try to get that "Shepard breathing" scene after the credit... because the rest of the game was just fcking magnificent

I was fine with DA2 as well (I never got all the way to the end myself since a gamebreaking bug ruined my file during Act 3, but I did read the spoilers and such), but ME3's ending was horrible.

I still haven't completely ruled out the possibility that I'm actually dreaming right now. Maybe I'll wake up and ME3 will have a good ending.

I want the Mass Effect I feel in love back, this ending, it was a smack in the face. All those decisions meant nothing. This is so god damn sad.

I really hope they have something ready to go, and I don't mean re-take Omega. Fix my ending.

Even if that wasn't a dream sequence or hallucination like some fans have speculated, BW can run with that now. The fans have given them something to completely fix what they did. Whether or not they do it now is up in the air. Up in the air with that is whether or not a lot of people will ever buy a BW product again.

One thing that I believe happened is that it wasn't really "five years of work". Changing the writers along the way and dropping the dark energy plot shows, to me, that what they ended up with is not what they set out to do.

As for the silence, I honestly think it's to save their own asses.
