I'd be interested in viewing your opnion on the new DLC. Although, 9/10? For all the issues you listed as well? Sir, I feel that score is just a shade high.

Thanks. My gut stays about the same with when I first did the review - it falls somewhere between high 8's and low 9's. It has the best combat in the mass effect series, but felt the least innovative outside of the combat itself.A well thought, believable, honest and down to Earth review.
One issue with doing it this way is I can't go into as much detail on the game as I'd have available in plain old text. The upside is it has a more accessible nature to it and feels more easy to swallow than a wall of text. Plus linking videos to the comic strips is a neat trick.I also loved the style and format in which it was done.

It can seem that way, I wanted to make sure to hammer the issues home instead of just patting BioWare on the back for everything. There's still a lot of stuff I couldn't quite add in a visually through comic strips that went well with the game. For one thing, the consequences that can play out are mind-boggling. I'd made about 10 playthroughs, and the amount of variety for each one is astonishing. Anywhere from the Lives/Deaths of squadmates to specific choices like the Genophage cure data had major influences on how ME3 played out. On the other hand, the lack of variety in choices hurt a bit. I think they were going for quality over quantity(though I believe weekes' commentary mentioned they didn't feel shepard would be going in 'the middle' over the reaper thread). The Rannoch decision(s) had significant weight to them.
Also, a lot of the issues I'd mentioned aren't as detrimental due to the shortness of them. The whole chobot thing wasn't a great idea to add in(particularly for the awful clothing choice), but she's also completely optional and avoidable. After the first playthrough, I'd had enough of Ms. Bathing Suit and gave her the boot.

Boring faces aplenty.) It depends how often issues like those show up.
Agreed with that.

I did that way back in august of 2011, I still wanted to have bits of my spoofy humor added in there. I remember seeing a topic labelled "LISTEN UP BIOWARE", and I knew I had to use that in the review. I had to improvise the humor for the screenshots, but I wanted to at least prepare some ahead of time to keep things enjoyable.(also when you lost the temper haha)
:-) Countless hours of work paid off well. Not getting an awful lot of replies, but at least it's here and alive.Holy hell Dom, you did good.
And it'll be interesting to see how it plays out as well. We know there will at least be cinematics involved, but difficult to tell if they have intentions to re-work some of the conversation options already there.I'd be interested in viewing your opnion on the new DLC.

Well maybe consol folks are more used to that kind of controls.
Th writing has its high and big down. The end of the Thessia mission was honestly pretty bbad, as it forces he player into a defeat agains a pathetic opponent.
Also, I'd say Cerberus is poorly done.
and plotholes ofc

An interesting thought, but the entire main story arc would've gotten too much interference if you'd essentially defeated Kai Leng on Thessia. The entire mission was meant to be a defeat. Rannoch is a different story, and it's by far one of the more malleable decision points. The end of the Thessia mission was honestly pretty bbad, as it forces he player into a defeat agains a pathetic opponent.
Ah yes, you're referring to the awesome button. Didn't bug me as much, but it's hardly a perfect system. As far as the gameplay go, the one button does everything is sometime infuriating on pc.
I did not. Thanks for the info.Did you know dom com is a fiction genre?
Good to hear.Not bad
