I think those answers aren't that great tho. It's not that we want a "brighter" ending. I'm fine with billions of people dieing, even Shepard sacrificing himself. What I'm NOT fine with is:
- The ending makes no sense. Why is Joker going full speed through the relays? Why are your companions all onboard when they were just at your side? Why is the little boy from Earth the master of the Reapers?
- All the important questions remain unanswered
- It makes all of ME1-3 completely meaningless. Instead of one big decision that decides everything, the ending should have no decision. It should instead reflect what you went through during the trilogy.

I don't necessarily want a bright ending, I actually want to just not screw over life in the galaxy.

Good, let's hope they listen and then take action to resolve this.

Sent it to Chris Priestly or post it on dev twitter.
It's absolutely vital that the message is clear.

I just want an ending that follows up on some of the big decisions in the game so I don't feel like I just shat out 200+ hours of my life for nothing. I don't care that Shepard is dead or the relays are destroyed. But a little 5 min scene depicting the Krogan rebuilding their world, Earth now becoming home to a whole armada full of aliens, just a few words of dialogue from maybe Hackett or your squadmates, Something to make my actions on ME1 and ME2 matter over the long run is all I want. You can even keep the final Stargazer scene because the idea of Shepard being Legend is a nice one.

I don't like these polls because I think the options aren't worded or expanded well enough to incorporate all of the outcry. I still voted, but I can easily see how some people just wouldn't agree with any of the choices.
At the same time, I'd hope they'd at least indicate that something needs to be done.

I wouldn't even say I need a "happy" ending. I'd appreciate it to no end, but I'd settle for something that didn't fly in the face of what I've done. Organics and synthetics will never coexist? Really? Ok then I guess the situation on Rannoch means nothing.
And while I wouldn't say that the ending renders all the game meaningless since the journey to that point was still fantastic, but I will say that we shouldn't have even had the choice. Yes, it would have been very difficult to have multiple endings based on what we've done, but we were also led (or perhaps allowed) to believe that this would be the case. I wanted closure for characters that I considered my friends, and I wanted to see the Catalyst say, "The cycle is over, and based on what you've done, Shepard, this is the new cycle." They could still even use the readiness by having that determine how much of Earth was saved in the end.
