Thane deserves some stripping down. Why couldn't we have a shower scene with him?

Water drops on glistening scales
running down his chest
following the path of his stripes
to where Shep's eyes continue to dwell

Ya know, it never really occurred to me but...how does Thane shower regularly? I mean, standing in a humid, moist environment for an extended time everyday couldn't be good for the ole lungs. :crying:

*imagines the scene and starts drooling at the corner of my mouth before shaking my head clear* Dangit! I HATE it when you do that! ... Kind of.

He takes cold showers I guess.
Do drell take showers? I don't imagine him getting as smelly as humans do.

I have a very colourful answer for that involving my FemShep...there is no water involved.

I swear, if I wasn't already writing a steamy story, I would have to go write a bunch of stuff just from all the danged images that people (YOU) have put on this thread! I still remember the ridges conversation...

Not you too! Don't encourage her! If she had her way, we'd be stuck in dreamland with handsome naked drells all day! *stops talking as the images flood my mind*

@ mnomaha - Lol, sorry I can't help it. Mordin is like the conductor on my train of thought....just clicking through logic points with no regard to what's coming out of my mouth. I've been quoted the old adage that "I'd screw up a wet dream" a few times... hold's pretty true here I suppose.

@JECW - Still the moisture... perhaps he maintains his skin(scales) much the way a snake might, through shedding and very little bathing. Too much moisture is actually harmful and can cause respiratory infections and scale rot in some snakes. I always thought Thane would feel kinda like a python... Does anyone else think about stuff like this or am I being a weirdo on this one?

I've actually never felt a snake so I don't know what it would feel like.
I guess Thane's skin would be similar.

His skin is similar to a snake, yes.  Snakes can actually be quite soft and smooth.  I imagine Thane's skin would feel like that. Since he's reptilian, I don't see him really needing to shower (unless he wanted to).

As for shedding, I imagine he'd have to.  XD   Makes sense, since the drell homeworld is arid and water was likely a precious commodity there.

Snakes usually shed all their skin in one go.  It would be kinda funny if the drell did that also.  It's also possible they just shed their skin like humans do, casting off little scales here and there.  *shrug*

Interesting to think about.

It was said with good humour. LOL It was actually quite funny.

I have to admit to spitting my pizza at the python comparison. You have nooooo idea where my mind went on that one. ;)

I'd rather Thane shed his clothes instead of his skin.

Actually this is exactly how I imagined it.  Having had a snake as a pet before, I just can't see them shedding everything all at once.  Considering that they are somewhat humanoid (and I'm betting not just in appearance), I would guess they shed their scales much like we shed our hair and skin.  Just my interpretation though....could be wrong.

Alright, that's it. I'm going to bed you mad women. Although how I'm going to sleep now is beyond me. I'm sure I'll be back tomorrow and the thread will be full of even more innuendo and suggestion than it is now, although I can't say I know as how that's even possible. Hold down the fort without me.
