I just finished Thessia today and it struck me that Shepard was...heartbroken after that, about how she couldn't keep Thessia from falling and losing the data they needed and being, as she said to the asari councillor 'defeated' there! I'd have liked to see that reaction, that kind of humanity from her after Thane's death, I would have expected no less emotion! Instead, we get nothing, not even a mention of him...which somehow hurts even more than the fact he actually dies!!

Shepard can show emotion for everyone else but not the man that she loves.
The writers were either drinking or high when they wrote some of these things.

Eva: i feel bad for Thane, but still i guess it was easy to predict. (at least it's not Garrus ♥ lol i'm terrible, sorry )

Me: @Eva- See, this is the problem. If Garrus got killed off, all his fans would be screaming in protest and YOU would be called the fangirls, and everyone who's calling us Thane fans idiots would be saying the same thing to you, and it would be that way for EVERY LI out there if they died. But because it's just Thane, people roll their eyes at us.

And the worst part is that it's TRUE. But they don't CARE because it's not Liara, or Garrus, or Kaiden or whoever that's dead and so they can say all this stuff, but if they killed off Liara by having her "die to save the council" or something, they'd be throwing a ****-fit up to heaven and they'd be getting as defensive as we are about Thane. But of course NO ONE recognizes this.

When I read that comment = instant rage face.  Enjoyed your reply and you're right.  If it was Liara, Garrus, Tali, Kaiden, etc. this would be playing out differently.  I hope they really are taking notes and keeping track of the reactions.  Between here (BSN), FB, and Twitter... it's kind of hard to ignore unless you are purposely looking over the reactions from the fans.

And loving the generic response they left in the comments on the photo.  /sarcasm.

it is a pitty. even a lot of bioware "fans" seems not to be as tolerant as we are. o.o
me for example (and i just speak for myself) actually don't like jacob that much, but i will support every jacobmancer because his romance was as horrible as thanes and i can understand their pain.

I've noticed the tolerance issue as well.  It's the main reason why I don't post on other threads here on the forum. 

I didn't really care for Jacob either, at least in the romance department, but I feel bad for the people that did romance him.  Major support for the ME2 romances in general.

Glad you stopped by and started posting here too.  I enjoy reading your posts.
