Lovin' the banners, mnomaha! It's too bad they don't give you more room in your sig.

Do what I did: throw all the ones you want together into one with one of those Create a GIF websites.

Can you like to a good one. Note: by good, I mean really easy...

Here ya go.

Just use stillshots you want to make into a GIF- I tried throwing a few already animated GIF's into it, and it didn't turn out well.

@Mayra...LOL, it's totally not a Kaidan bash. It has to do with the crappy dialogue choices we got. I've got one for Garrus too. ;)

Femshep seem to be the only one who has this problem.

Yeah, and it's pretty frustrating. M!Shep can defend his choice to move on with Miranda to Ash but FemShep is forced to apologize to Kaidan and act like she made a mistake. Where was the option to defend our choice to be with Thane (or Garrus or Jacob)?

It's not right.

No, it's completely wrong. The differences in options between FemShep and Sheploo is astounding. The inequality in LI's for ME3 is so freaking wrong. Kaidan dead, Garrus not romanced in ME2, romanced any ME2 LI, FemShep is doomed to be alone unless she wants another female. I personally wanted a male romance. I got nothing.

My Cameron has made a life long habit of not apologizing for anything and now they all but force her to be apologetic. Nope, didn't like it, reloaded and didn't redo the Kaidan convo. She felt discriminated against, a second class Shep, well aware that no matter what she does she is still not good enough in BW's eyes.

No it isn't right.
Bioware neve would have done this to MShep. FemShep is the only one who has an LI who dies or dumps you.

Shell Nelsen Um, no we have been complaining for quite a while. And that's a very good idea. Although a lot of the fanfics are probably out of the realm of bw's capabilites.

Tehehe. Go back to the GIF maker page, choose advanced under size, and set it as 450. That's the biggest setting.

Thank you. This makes me so happy. lolololololol

And since when were you not allowed to complain about products or critique "art"? Just because you didn't make it doesn't mean you don't know how it could be better. Else we'd have no needs for reviews or debates on what "art" is. It's not a good product if a majority of consumers protest. It is not "art" unless it is generally well liked or somehow inventive, even in a counterculture kind of way. ME3 isn't generally well liked nor is "everyone dies" inventive. So I'm pretty sure we can complain, especially when BW is asking for feedback. How about you let BW stand up for themselves if they're just so sick of the criticism.

But wait, they haven't. And they won't. Because they know, at least with the endings, that they messed up.

And I won't give up until I've done everything I can to point out the other big flaws.

And I feel we're actually helping. We're not just yelling, we have points and examples and quotes from BW workers/devs/representatives/etc and sources in the lore BW themselves created. We can compare statistically the amount of "private moments" or dialogue options or general screen time. Next time, BW can try to learn from their mistakes, make a better game, and get more sells. We just all went, "Oh it's the last game we have to get it, it'll be awesome" and then they let us down. Doubt many other people will buy after they hear the reviews. I for one am steering people away from it.

I'm still in the undecided realm about video games being art. Sure, some of the images could be determined as so, but an entire game? Not really sure about that. IMO, it is a product. Art is a commodity.

And you are correct. We are not just yelling, we are willing to discuss things with non-trolls, in a non-trollish way, and see others points of view as valid. We're not asking them to change their games. We are asking for the option to change our game. The narrow-mindedness of some individuals just astounds me sometimes.

And I also will not quit. I will not go quietly into the night. I will fight.

There's no excuse for this. If you create LI's for women you commit to them just as you would for the guy's romances.  There isn't an excuse alive to justify the unfair treatment.

I have generally viewed video games as having "artistic elements", wrapped in a product for consumers.  Art is there (story lines , character creations, graphical elements), but this is meant to be a playable commodity.  And as with all Art (artistic elements or otherwise) how good said art is, is subjective.

Why would you specifically design characters to attract female players, and then act like they are completely unimportant in the third game? I would think that bioware would cherish their female players. They seem to have more than other game companies do.

I do not think video games are 'art'.  The graphics alone from ME3 can clearly make the argument that they are most definitely NOT art.  Sure the story and characters may have artistic components.  And even if VGs are "art", they should and can be criticized.  I'm probably the only one here from Canada, but years ago our federal government paid almost $2 million for a painting to hang in the national gallery.  It is a blue stripe, then a red stripe, then a blue stripe, all running vertically.  Yep, that's it.  And everyone I know that has ever seen it says the same thing - I could do that.
So, art schmart.  Fix the endings, fix Thane Krios, fix it all you ball dropping, forgetting ***s.  Seriously.  No excuses.  If this was any other corporation or product, they would have already amended it.  Oops, I made the wrong trade?  Fixed.  Oops, I charged you too much?  Fixed.  Oops your iPad/iPhone/iEverything keeps breaking?  Stand in line and we'll get you and new one and convince you that it's ok that your product keeps breaking.  Whoops, bad example.  :pinched:

Keep your fans happy and the rest will come.  I would then y'know, RECOMMEND the game, since I currently don't.

And I will also not go quietly in the night.  I was told my choices matter.  And they clearly do not.  Therefore, misled, and going to continue to fight.

Sorry for the rant.  :?

I agree, art is very subjective. Apparently so is the content of video games. Someone's "best game evarrrr" is on my list of "Oh God, I can't even look at the cover anymore"

Remember the EFFORT that went into creating thane in ME2? How much research and feedback the designers went through to get his look right for female players? What the hell happened!?

Heya, I'm making my own animated banner... but I was wondering if someone could link me that 'Protest Poor Treatment of Romances in ME2' Thane ones again? Would appreciate it.

EDIT:

Nevermind, found it.

@Cosmi...I agree. At the end of the day, it is a product. One that I have saved for and waited for about 9 months. I'm not happy with the product. Nor am I happy at the lack of dialogue that bw seems to think is creating anticipation. It is not anticipation. That is indicating some form of pleasure. This is frustration. That is indicative of people getting really pissed off and coming to Canada to toilet roll your headquarters.

edit: and would everybody quit apologising for ranting. We love your rants as much as wel love your other posts. <3
