the word bio.drone. Had to put a full stop in there or it would star it out.  I use that term when I'm not sure if it's a human replying.

I feel really bad for Thane fans, that he is the only LI whom it is impossible to save.
I know there was a strong possibility he wouldn't make it anyway, due to his condition.
But to relegate him to an early death because "they forgot"? REALLY?
I seriously want to cry right now. WTH has happened to the BioWare I used to know and love?
You all deserve so much better than this.

They totally forgot our Thane.

The current bw is indeed a world apart from the one that made DA:O and ME1 and 2.

Thane and Jacob got the worst of it, but none of the ME2 romances fared very well.

Thanks a lot for the support, kglaser. It means a lot that people who didn't romance him see past teh AWESOME of his death and how lacking his appearance in ME3 was.

You definitely have my support.  Jacob fans, too.
To be perfectly honest, I romanced both for a brief time before switching to Garrus (yeah, I'm fickle...please don't hit me!)   And I thought they were both very good romances, what I saw of them.
But even if I had never had anything to do with them, I don't see how anyone couldn't find BW's treatment of each completely outrageous.
honestly, I was surprised and dismayed at how soon he died.  It would have been really nice if AT LEAST they could have had him do a holographic transmission thingie to the last part of the game in London before he died (when you were talking to all of your other squaddies).  Why would that have been so impossible for BW?!

Oh , even the alive ME2 LI's didn't show up in that flashback.

I'm sorry to be so blunt, but I saw enough of Liara in ME3. She was always coming to my room, etc. Why does she have to be in the flashback too??
In my game, I got her at the very last second, and hardly interacted with her in ME1. So why is she all up in my face?

Because bw apparently had a problem, so I think they took out everybody but Liara (of couse) and the VS. I could be wrong, but I'm sure that's how it went. Easier to take it out than fix it.

I also saw Joker. Never figured that one out. but for romances...the above applies.

That'sthe reason that I heard.
How is it that they had problems with everyone else but Liara and the VS. They should have just fixed it or not done the flashbacks at all. Everyone should have been able to see the LI they chose.

I was watching the ME3 'romance' again and I noticed that when Thane first speaks, the 'Siha' sounded really off. Then it was obvious that they just cut and pasted the Siha there next to the 'unromanced' line where he talks about shepard making it from earth alive.. didn't even record new lines if they didn't have to

One thing that gets me is a lot of people always say things like 'it was a great way for him to go out, he didn't want to die from disease' when that's...exactly what happened. He died gasping out his last breath in a hospital bed because his lungs didn't work right. The stab wound wouldn't have been fatal if his blood was properly carrying oxygen, I think it's Kolyat who outright tells you that's what the doctor said.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't Thane himself say that 'gasping out his last breath in a hospital bed' was how he didn't want to die? And ME3 rolls around and...he's suddenly okay with it. It's like the devs saw how popular Garrus was and went OLD AND BUSTED and dropped the poor bastard like a hot potato.

I watched my cousin play through her Thane save post-Citadel, talking with Kaidan. He just sounds so...scummy. I don't hate Kaidan, but from the perspective of a Thane romance? 'I understand why you cheated, and I know he died like, yesterday, but seriously let me love you'. My cousin ended up going with him, though, because she didn't feel like being a lesbian and ME3 itself gives Femsheps the wonderful option of one guy and three women.

Bioware just dropped like...every single ball it ever had in ME3.

That was exactly what I thought....the first Siha seemed (audio speaking), not synced or recorded differently.....just "off".  My money's with you; cut n' paste.

@sunnie...I believe it. They seem to recycle a lot when it comes to Thane. Old character format, old letter, old dialogue....I honestly can't remember anything new. Except the cough.
