Don't punch. Slap a singularity and i hit with a heavy warp. I agree with you, Thane deserved better and so did Kolyat. There was no reason to kill him off other then it was a quick solution and oops we couldn't be bothered (in my opinion there was a lot of that).

I think you are right.
They are sad, lonely, and jealous. They have no clue what they are talking about. They don't know why we are upset, and they don't really care. They don't know the first thing about Thane or his story. All they know is that Thane was sick and dying. If they think they fight scene and death was amazing theh they need to get out more. I know they would be the first ones complaining like little kids if this happened to their LI.
I guess we must be making some kind of noise if people are talking about us.

Well, they are an international company, so I assumed they would have some staff (somewhere) that spoke German. If I were in charge of a company like that, I would not assume all correspondence would be in English.

I had to drop by and rant! So there seem to be some threads circulating about people who advocate Thane's death. Well, that's good and fine for them, but what drives me crazy is that if someone points out that some of us only want the choice to choose whether Thane dies or not, they claim that it cheapens the story and his character...
Thane's total character massacre from ME2 to ME3 aside, what does his death truly add to the story? It is a scene where he can apparently be replaced and serves nothing other than a plot device to make us hate Kai Lang. If you look at Mordin's death it was a story arc coming to a close. In Mordin's case he was redeeming a past mistake and saving an entire race, which is all a part of his story coming from ME2 and concluding in ME3, then if you turn and look at Thane's death, he had no real reason to save the consular and really no reason to be there, it wasn't apart of his story arc at all. It would have made much more sense that he was trying to get to C-Sec to get to Kolyat, which wasn't mentioned at all. The whole scene served as nothing more than an attempt to kill off a character, which was apparently bioware's idea of good conclusion to his story arc (because he was sick so he had to die right?
)
The next thing that really gets under my skin is these people claiming that if we were given a choice to save him is cheapens his character. Seriously? It is a game about choice. All this stink about the endings a lack of choice given and these people turn around and say we can't have a choice? I think that is rather hypocritical. (As a disclaimer I hated the endings but it doesn't really have much relevance here).
