@Yermogi: I had my nephew too, who started playing ME from 2,lol, say that he thought it made sense Thane die at ME3, when I told him...Told him off properly, since he also seemed to think he isn't an important character; on the other hand, he likes Miranda a lot, so he got it after a bit; I told him that, if she died and she CAN die, he'd not be so quick to be so dismissive towards Thane!

@Hyrule-Gal: You are so right! It's exactly like that, if you're purposely turning a blind eye towards one thing, then you are blind to more. And alright, personal taste is personal-some people liked the endigns even when the majority hates them, for instance-but at least be willing and have the open mindedness to see points of view other than your own and actually acknowledge them,look at them reasonably and without bias!

@Evanesce:*cuddles* That is pretty much what I told my nephew,lol; he was incredulous at first, but then he found out it could actually happen...instant 180 turn of opinion there, it was nice to see!

Yes, there's two.. disgruntled/disappointed ME2 LI fans going to pax. I'm organizing all the letters, and they'll print them out and present them.

I'm just submitting my Thane letter. If I have time, I'll try to do some for the others.

I ned help again for the Fanbook I still need some picture for the binding cover and thought about trying out a screenshot of Thane Something like the puppy eyes I posted before My problem: I always play with subtitle - german girl, playing english games - let's say I REALLY need them Has anyone of you (what a stuuuuuuuuuuuupid question, I know) some screenshots of Thane (only Thane without another character, preferred a close shot of his face) without subtitels for me? They should not be too dark at all. Everything else: surprise me xD I have to pic one of the screenies up (quite difficult decisions).... So.... perhaps be gentle and send only your favourite Screenie. Just send them to thane-fanbook@gmx.de. Would be the easiest way. I will decide in about 36 hours and show up the result in here I think So after this pactiure the binding is done as far as I could do it

I actually liked how they handled thane in ME3.
although i have to admit i never romanced him during me2 so no idea about that whole change thing the o.p. was talking about.
felt right that he went out with a bang saving the salarian council frogdude and then later with his son next to him on his deathbed.

Shep: Well not really but for being the best assassin in the galaxy, they have you pull some rather amateurish moves.
Thane: Even on my worst day, I would never be amateurish. Apparently this must be my worst day. Go on.
Shep: After you are stabbed, I don't bother to help you. I take off and I don't leave anyone behind to help you.
Thane: This is madness!!!! What were they thinking?
Shep: With a large writing team, you were kinda forgotten about, I think the word "optional" was used too. They admitted to dropping the ball.
Thane: (grabs sniper) I'm about to drop a few balls.

It just kills me that the VS doesn't even remark on the civilian who got killed doing their job for them. I don't think they could make the humans look worse if they tried.

Someone brought something up on another thread... or maybe it was this one, I keep losing track..

If Thane is dead, or you didn't speak to him on the Citadel, Kirahhe (if alive) uncloakes and stops Leng. So.. if Kirahhe and Thane are still alive, does that mean that Kirahhe is just... sitting there, invisible?

Does he uncloak ( i've not see his part if Thane absent)... if that's true its just another absurdity relating to Thane's death.  Imagining Kirrahe crouching out of sight, watching Thane fight leng made me LOL... if I didn't I'd probably cry again

  God, Kaidan pissed me off so much in this game! Especially when he hits on me just moments after Thane dies; what a creep. Although I kind of fan canon that when Thane was in the hospital with him, he went off into one of his "private" memories of our time spent together and then kaidan would be like  muahahahahahahahahaa

With all these one-noters (mmmmm....trolls??), I have started going back through old threads, and copying down things I have written in the past.  I figure if they are going to just repeat themselves over and over, with no real insight (and with out reading any of our posts), then I will just rehash that which I have used before.  Of course, that also depends on my mood, or willingness to engage in the first place..........
