He upset quite a lot of Thane-mancers there with his comments and patronising. I couldn't stand it any longer and posted my 2 cents even though I should have known better... (internet plus anonymity equals ...) He then told me what mnomaha quoted.
He already backed down a bit in the meantime but still uses arguments such as "Just don't think you should have as much a "right" (if you will) for a change than those of us who feel thoroughly raped by the ending. In the end... I hate to break it to you... but you're the "entitled" and "whining" fans the media keeps talking about. When Bioware looks at this, they can think "Damn, wished we never gave those dramaqueens a LI, ffs.". "
I just don't understand it... why? I don't like the endings either and I support the protests but why are some people so narrow-minded? Why do they look down on us just because we voice our disappoinment and anger about the poor treatment of our LI's in ME3 instead of just freaking out about the endings? What's the problem? I don't get it...
He seemed to be a bit of a Talimancer, so I told him that if Tali fans hadn't voiced how they would have liked a romance with her, it would never have happened. Just like if we don't voice our opinions on Thane, they will never be changed.
