I don't want to feel naive but I'm actually getting hopeful too! I have a billion tabs open right now just scouring for scraps of information on forums and blog livefeeds! Visii you are preventing lots of anxiety riddled breakdowns by keeping us posted with info from Aryss and Nick! AHHH! I can barely take the excitement! :D

I'm still bubbly inside waiting for them to read the book. Best idea evaaaaaaaar.

Also, on another happy note, there's 202 signatures on the petition. Pretty great for only, what, 2-ish weeks? :)

My feeling is that hope has staggered drunkenly to its feet, rather like PDS, and is stumbling around the room looking for 1. Light, 2. A toothbrush

I imagine it first rolling out of bed and onto the floor before staggering up to it's feet. Including disheveled hair.

Eyes caked with sleep, still trying to unscramble reality and the realm of dreams.

Visii the fanbook is amazing work! I feel bad not being able to get in a letter, I've been swamped with exams/assignments the past 2 weeks but it's clearly made quite an impact! They can't ignore us now :D

Is there anything new going on? Anything else being said about LI's? Or Thane?

Project Aftermath:

-Nick's narrative-

"So, after the panel, we went down to the meeting room... but there was already a huge line because they were doing game signings. So we kind of stood by the door, trying to figure out what to do, and Chris showed up.

He then told the security people that he was bringing us in with him. He then introduced us to the game writers and some developer guy. We were only able to speak with them for a few minutes, before getting kicked out due to the signing event.

We did our best to impress on them how many people want more content. They said they didn't know what is in future store as far as DLC is concerned, and that it is up to the fans to tell them what is wanted. To that I said, 'I hope this book can show you what the fans want'. They did their utmost to not answer any questions concretely."

They took the book so hopefully we will get the some LI DLC :wizard:

The book is a good step forward. Keep tweeting and sending feedback to Bioware about Thane. The more we let them know how unhappy we are, the more likely they will give us more/different content.

Well, that's something and I'm glad that they've taken the book and were friendly with discussions, but I'm a bit sad that they didn't actually talk about it themselves... The LI's I mean. :(

I have such mixed feelings over the outcome of PAX... Is it still going on, or is BioWare done there?

Voted-oh how I love when a poll gets linked to one of our threads, the Siha's take over! Move over Garr Bear.

Also, how is Thane not included in this?-http://www.g4tv.com/...are-characters/

Top 5 out of all Bioware games though...that's pretty skimpy. They didn't include anyone from DA either. I've never taken anything X-play has to say seriously, or anything on G4 for that matter.

I agree it was skimpy.
Maybe if they did a list of top ME characters Thane would have made the list, but it is just X-play.

Yeah, I remember watching their review of ME3-they said something along the lines of the ending to be one of the most satisfying endings to any game, unlike ME2 which they felt was a little anti-climatic. Guess it's necessary to have the exact same opinion about everything there.

He did win IGN's character of the year though...thought IGN and X-Play were affiliated?

Bah....X-play.......just couldn't take listening to Sessler's fast talking anymore.  And as I understand it, he is not as big on RPG's as Webb is......at least I remember an episode a few years back where they talked about that.

BTW.....I love it when we ''Storm" da Polls!Image IPB

True.
They aren't really invested in the game. They may play it, but that's it.
It also felt like they probably just played the game once, and I doubt they did the romance.
