Damn I wish I could play ME.....everytime I start up ME2 (now that Mace has Thane) I kinda just wanna cry <whine>.  So, I thought about starting up ME1.....I have Evan and Rom sitting in ME1 waiting to move forward (just before Virmire), but alas......I just don't have the heart.  I even ran the me3 demo yesterday (decided to try out Mace's facecode, and see if I could recreate Evan) it kept me occupied, but eventually it saddened me....can't play me3.  BAH!

Guess this week I will (once again) go back to DAO and DA2.........

Oh Coldi, I know I'm playing ME2 again, and I'm actually pretending like ME3 never happened, and going with my head canon haha. I was considering playing DAO again too, I still haven't finished my Zev romance! I definitely think I have a thing for assassins

@BioEvilChris @kotyhaidar I looked at it on the plane ride. Some great stuff. I'll talk about it with @CaseyDHudson on Monday.

I don't want to let myself get too hopeful but I'm glad that they have our feedback in their hands, are reading it and plan on discussing it. I'm also glad that the book seems to have made an impression, We critisize but the criticism is born out of genuine love for the characters and the universe they created. I think they realize that.

At the very least, I'm happy we were able to make ourselves heard in a meaningful way. We got to tell them how much Thane means to us, how important he is to our experience of the game, how the neglect of his character was upsetting.

At the very least they know and maybe they will do something about it.

Just stopping by to say that, although I didn't romance Thane, I considered him a bro and the way his character was handled in the game made me really bummed. Here's to hoping for - despite the odds - some Thane-centric DLC!

Thank you for your support, it always cheers me up a bit when non Thane romances offer support to our cause

Haha now I'm playing DAO too There is a ridiculous amount of replayability for DAO, and ME1 and 2, shame it was so difficult just to finish ME3 once..

I really hope that people are noticing Thane comes in pretty high on these romance polls, like on that one he's coming in second after Garrus, and on other ones i've voted for he does pretty well too. I really think we have a chance, with the LI book and everything, of getting some Thane content Especially if they even said they would show the book directly to Casey

that's a good video. I think it reiterates just how poorly the Thane/Shepard conversation Hospital madness is. When someone you love lover/friend/family is sick/dying you don't act so casual around them as if they don't matter. You want to slap shepard because she's so apathetic.  hey, you're dying does it hurt? how long until you kick the bucket? Want to mess around? See you later. Horrible Horrible there's no excuse for that kind of lazy writing. We forgot about Thane. Well, unforget him because for anyone that has lost a person or has come close to losing a person, the converstion is just rude and thoughtless. If someone is near the end of their lives you make sure you tell them how much you love them and appreciate them. You have your heart into everything you do together because you don't know if you'll see them again, or if they'll be able to hear/understand you the next time you talk together. I would have liked to see this from Shepard, romanced Thane or not. He was a part of your crew..that you inspired to undertake a suicide mission and now that your back from it I don't believe Shepard would just stop caring about the welfare of her people. Romanced Thane..come on..she should be a million times more invested in this man than regular friend Shepard. Come on writers.. <3Thane

Blech.....work sux today. Normally I would look forward to turning on ME or DA, and unwinding.....meh. I guess this is a good opportunity to start getting back on my bike more.

Ok....not helping the mood around here.....so, lets get Thane back! I am trying to formulate my own ending for the trilogy; I keep going back to that lovely fanfic, "36 Strategems of Wang Jenz". I am a big fan of more "conventional" means of destroying the reapers. I'll adjust "canon" if/when new Thane approved DLC comes to light.

BTW Cosmo, I guess we were having a mind meld today; I posted on the Thane Fanbook group  after you did (had NOT read what you had written before I started writing, I swear), and I basically said the same thing you did.......regarding the Introduction.

@Yermogi - I am of mind to put up a sign on Life Support (like we might have when we were kids) that says, "Thane's Room.  Keep out! (unless you are Thane, <insert name here> Shepard, or Kolyat!)"

Put in an alarm system that can only be dissarmbed by inputting a secret password known only by Shepard and Kolyat. That's the way to go. And if someone tries to put in a password who is NOT Shepard or Kolyat, they instantly get 1000 volts through them. Maybe next time they'll THINK before using Thane's room.

Would totally do that. Until Thane is back in that room (or in Shepard's personal cabin) no one is going to go in there. That's Shepard's Crying room where she holds Thane's mug and weeps over it while sitting in his chair.
