Of course I don't want anyone other than Thane in Life Support, but if Thane lived through ME3 I could handle it, but if Thane stays dead, my ME3 stays out of sight at the bottom of my game box, and my cash stays in my bank so whoever they put in there, I wouldn't see it.

Yeah if we wanna get rid of the fish tank (my poor fishies i love you but you know you always die and i can't buy the little autofeeder right now and i can't flirt with Kelly cause she died) and have Thane live in Shep's room, then anyone can have Life Support. But if he's not in there, whether he's alive or otherwise, Life Support is closed. And don't touch the mug.

I would be ok with someone being in life support if Thane were alive and bioware fixed his romance.
If they don't then I won't be paying for some dlc character to go in there. They can forget that.

It is where my shepard  was  running after each missions: to sit and  stare the  lonely cup and  the empty  places on the  weapon wall . This empty  room,   as empty than  her  heart. My Shepard died with Thane. The  Shepard  who  tried to save the  universe  was just an empty body fueled by electronics and  duty.

If they put another character in Life Support, it isn't Thane and they do nothing to repair the state of things... I will genuinely and with all honesty never play ME3 again.

Not that I have since finishing my first playthrough.  But in this case, I'd cut out Multiplayer as well.

that's a good video. I think it reiterates just how poorly the Thane/Shepard conversation Hospital madness is. When someone you love lover/friend/family is sick/dying you don't act so casual around them as if they don't matter. You want to slap shepard because she's so apathetic.  hey, you're dying does it hurt? how long until you kick the bucket? Want to mess around? See you later. Horrible Horrible there's no excuse for that kind of lazy writing. We forgot about Thane. Well, unforget him because for anyone that has lost a person or has come close to losing a person, the converstion is just rude and thoughtless. If someone is near the end of their lives you make sure you tell them how much you love them and appreciate them. You have your heart into everything you do together because you don't know if you'll see them again, or if they'll be able to hear/understand you the next time you talk together. I would have liked to see this from Shepard, romanced Thane or not. He was a part of your crew..that you inspired to undertake a suicide mission and now that your back from it I don't believe Shepard would just stop caring about the welfare of her people. Romanced Thane..come on..she should be a million times more invested in this man than regular friend Shepard. Come on writers.. <3Thane

Yep.  It was insulting enough they left the room open and got my hopes up.  Then it sat there empty the rest of the game as a reminder that he was dead and never coming back.

It's like they were trying to make up for the fact that Thane dies and no one ingame, including shepard, actually cares.
'Well, might as well give the Thanemancers his room to make their shepards go into and cry.. but let's not bother with actually giving any Thane related dialogue after he dies, leaving the room open should be enough.'

But it's far more likely that they didn't think about it at all..

Regardless the sealing of the men's room made me laugh because at one point EDI states that Javik is having a problem using the correct rest room. Well, no s**t Sherlock, try unlocking the men's room for him.

Okay, maybe you didn't mean it that way, but when you said "what he's looking at" and "reawakened", Shepard was not what came to mind. I don't think I need to continue this train of thought for people to see what I mean.

I think Thane would be equally pleased and someone worried over how we're all obsessing over him and his ridges and 'awakening'. He'd probably have to introduce us all to his brothers or something. Also, my Shepard would shoot me.
