@ Niemalna - I thought it was implied Thane was close to them since he had that procedure done on his eyes to better communicate with them. I would have liked to see/learn more about the Drell and Hanar as well. A Cure Thane mission might have been a good idea to showcase that (and get war assets). *hinthint BioWare*

Yeah, and the whole talk about the soul name. And I still don't really know anything about them.
YES WAR ASSETS. See everything can somehow be fit in to everything else if they'd just take the time to consider and plan ahead. There's several good solutions/ideas I've seen here.

I'm trying to work on an art piece (avoiding letter for now; it has a page limit. xD), but I have no real references/idea of a pose so it's kind of failing. lol

We're going to try and keep the font small, and it's single spaced, so you shouldn't fear the page limit!

Ugh.. if they had included the extended death scene it would have been mildly better (still no 'I love you' though) <_<

And yeah I remember Thane saying that the Drell 'owed their existence to the Hanar' too.

Brilliant Aislinn!  Have we been able to view both of these amazing vids....or are they for "BW eye's only"..

I'm in the process of writing Ulee's (PDS Muse) beginning, to add to the the LIA.  Also got my husband to agree to take some photos (he is in to photography, and he will belittle himself with taking shots of our T.V. so that I can get some better shots of my Sheps and Thane).....I usually have to do this alone with one hand on the controller and the other on the camera phone....yeesh!  Anyway, I am off to bed.....have to go back to the hospital tomorrow, but should be done for the week.  Nighty nite all!

What a massive improvement...that is the least we should have got .  However, even if they implemented something like that now it would be too little to late for me...

...must have cure/treatment and Thane alive and must have paramour achievement.

this is in fact so so great! i am so happy that Aislinn contributed this to the project *happy dani bunny is dancining around*

Mythlover20 will contact a bunch of people on DA these days and ask again for contributions I will make an update this weekend, try to make a poll for the binding picture and myth will write a prototype f the introduction and we will post it in the group. <3

The book is growing, we have about 125 pages so far - if the artists which myth contacts will give permission we will have about 20 pages more. Since I got the contribution of Lydlyd and Aislinn via postal mail and the contribution of myself is still missing (I have to write something for Visii's project first - I need a 48 hours day these days -.-) I think this will be at least about 10 to 15 pages more to add.

If we are lucky and you too tr to recruit some more people we really will come out here with about 200 pages only contributions - and this will be in fact amazing!!!!

If anyone you know have any questions feel free to give my contact to them, no problem

Have I told you that I LOVE you lately??? You are all great and you are helping me so much with this!!! Yesterday I got the paper for the printing from amazon, for really good quality printing (I hope the people there weren't lying with their comments at all xD)

This is getting great guys and I am so excited to show you the final project at all <3 Without harming anyone here I just have to say: Thane fans are the best for me xD Since I have the most contact with you guys and see myself HOW AMAZING the works for him are!!!

Sweet, sweet aftermath and tragedy. That was fabulous. And it made me not hate synthesis, which is a miracle. The other two, I can deal with....

I wish i was more outgoing so I'd post and talk more, but for now I'll try and put together something for both the Thane fanbook and the LIA project. Just have some pretty hefty work deadlines to bother with as well.

So I'm going to be submitting a letter for Thane in the new project,
Thane was just so cool in ME2 and then he died in ME3 which was extremly well done how it came together and all It made me get chocked up and all. Then after it no one sad anything about him except Bailey (At least Bailey still has a heart and remembers Thane from ME2), but that was before Thane died no one not Garrus, not Tali, Joker, EDI, any one said one word.

Worst part of it all, was the autodialogue forced my Shepard to say "that remains to be see" about Kai Leng, too bad I screwed off until Thane showed up and then just stood there with my thumbs in my butt, yep My Shepard hold himself responsible for Thane's death.
He didn't have to die there and it was Shepard's fault.

Working on that idea and getting it into a letter for ya

If there's one thing I've had reiterated forcefully by this game, it's that tragedy with aftermath is rather beautiful in most fiction. Tragedy without closure or catharsis, on the other hand, is just kind of a gutpunch.

It'd been so long since I played ME2 that I've forgotten he didn't want his son to do his work.  I just want Thane, and if not him someone close to him, family, or a friend of his, so I can talk to them about him, like he's there on the ship like he should be.

Agreed!  I think all they need is one more PROPER conversation with Shepard where you can convince him to get a cure/transplant.  Then off on the mission, we get Thane as a war asset, as well as the drell and hanar.  We get a cut scene on the Normandy for actual "private time", then instead of just a "phone" convo with him at the end like everyone else from ME2, if he was romanced, he is there, on earth to fight along with you (even if he can't join the fight).  You get a proper "ending" romance scene, and voila!  Everyone is happy!
