Does Thane send you any messages on the iPhone?

That is all I have, if another one comes I didn't play long enough after I installed the DataPad to find out.

What Garrus said is really sweet. I don't know what the other LI's say, but I'm sure it's better than what they gave Thane. ,

Wait, wait, just a second. How can Garrus drink water (going back to that app thingy) if he's dexterous-aminic and can't eat/drink human things? Wouldn't water make him sneeze or be allergic or something?
Water is common to all the species. It's stated in Mass Effect 2. The problem is that it has to be filtered and free of amino acids which Humans, Krogans, Batarians, Hanar, Drell, Salarians and Asari can drink without issue.

Oh. Okay, well, that makes sense then. Kinda sad that's the only thing they can drink/eat together though... Must make dinner dates really awkward. :/

Someone pointed out that the reason that Thane and Jack being dead in a non-import is due to them having the lowest survival scores on the suicide mission.
Which is just so weird because if my memory serves right, the person who is most likely to die in the Suicide mission is Mordin (During the "Hold the line" segment) followed by Tali.
Although Thane does have the highest priority to die in two scenarios:
If the weapons were not upgraded
If you picked either a disloyal biotic, or any biotic besides Jack/Samara and brought Thane along as a squadmate.
I suppose there is a third scenario too, if you send Thane in the vents (which is pure derp since they say that a tech specialist is needed)
The above scenarios are easily avoidable, and I'd wager that most players actually did manage to keep him alive even if the "official" statistics say otherwise.
(Those official statistics are probably a bit skewered, since only players with a constant online connection and with online gameplay feedback on will actually contribute data)
{Edit] What Samara too? That makes even less sense...
Did they think that people had at first not upgraded the armour (Jack dies) And then send a disloyal Samara/random biotic besides Thane (Thane dies), and then finally bringing said disloyal Samara to fight the Human-Reaper-Larvae (Samara dies)?
WTF!? That's definitely even a less chance of that happening than having everyone survive!
Thane, Jack and Legion had low survivability due to lack of ship upgrades. It's plausible that casual gamers who weren't that invested (or attentive) would have missed certain upgrades. Oddly enough, Thane and Tali have almost the same level of survivability (Tali: 75.7 Thane:75.0) according to their statistics but that didn't stop BW from making Tali a squadmate in ME3.
Highest survival to least (according to BW statistics): Jacob, Miranda, Garrus, Grunt, Samara, Mordin, Tali, Thane, Jack and Legion
There were no statistics for Kasumi or Zaeed listed. I agree with you that their statistics are probably skewered because (as you pointed out) not everyone who plays the game is connected to the internet or gives permission to have their gameplay data shared. I only play connected to Xbox live if I am playing co-op or multiplayer. Otherwise, I prefer to play offline.

It makes me want to cry, too. When Thane got stabbed by Kai Leng and fell to the ground Shepard did not even stop to check on him. Instead she ran after Kai Leng. Thane apparenlty had to pull himself up and limp after
her. My heart jumped into my throat and I was like WTF. How heartless is Shepard?
Then when he slumps down against a wall, clearly bleeding out she asks: "How bad is it?" in the most dispassionate tone I have ever heard. Hey Shep, he was frikken STABBED. It's not a damn papercut.
Then Bailey radios in on her omnitool and she gets up and turns her back on Thane as if he's not there. "Oh, btw, Thane needs medical help. I need to track down an assassin"
And then she walks away without looking back, leaving Thane slumped against the wall BY HIMSELF. Again, I was thinking WTF.
It was like Thane was some random NPC. That is not how you treat an injured (and possibly dying) friend or lover.
It was so awful and it breaks my heart. Thane deserved better than that. My Shepard loved him and would never treat him like he didn't matter. I can only guess that during Shep's incarceration she apparently underwent a lobotomy.

Woke up this morning, cataloged some submissions for The Tribute... we got lots of Thane pics which makes me happy, but sad at the same time. I'm glad everyone's getting together like this to show appreciation for all these characters, but I wish it wasn't necessary, I wish we were all satisfied with how Thane and the others were treated in ME3.
Still kinda can't completely believe this happened..

Thanks for linking the article. I can only assume she doesn't know what becomes of Thane in ME3, otherwise she probably would not have bothered with those extra 40 hours.
Also, I doubt she even had to replay the 40 hours. All she really needed to do was go back to a save before the Suicide Mission and scan some planets (if she didn't already have the resources needed to upgrade the ship completely).
I'm also confused by how she managed to fail to initiate the relationship her second time around. Did she mistakenly tell him to 'focus on his son' instead of 'i want you, Thane'?
I guess these are examples of the mistakes more casual gamers can make. :/
Thane is too suave to die though - I agree with that. :/ BioWare apparently missed the memo.

I agree that it's silly we even have to do this. The romances should have been handled correctly in the first place. All I know is I'm going to be a relentless thorn in their side until something comes of it.
That iPhone app thingy just makes me rage even more. So, only some people get sweet romantic messages from their LIs while some of us get cold, detached ones?
"Hey, Siha. I'm still dying. Wish I could help."

What kind of messages do you get from Jack and Miranda, I wonder? If any at all?

QFT.
Another thorn reporting in
And the dying thing - STILL? You'd think BW would have at least learned that we all think that his "pre-determined" death story arc is total malarky. You'd think the people that pop in to say "hey, he went out like a rock star and it's your own fault - he told you he was dying" would also have learned that we think it's total crap. Sure, he's dying, but he admitted that the hanar are working on a cure, and the device and the lung transplant and and and and...ugh.
So frustrating. It's also frustrating that they released free DLC for the MP, and keep doing weekend operations for MP, without addressing anything else. Sure they announced an "extended cut" ending. But we know that it's the same endings. When did the "extended cut" movie ever fundamentally change anything you already witnessed in the original?
I'm rambling....
Here's Thane!!
