I'm as much a Garrus girl as one can decently be, but I have to say that the way the Thane romance was handled in ME3 sucked. I remember thinking that the friendship path was awesome (IMO), great conclusion to their friendship with the prayer at the end, and that the romance scene was probably even more awesome, especially given Thane's popularity as a LI in ME2.

Then... well, I learnt that he was barely mentioned at all after his death. Like nothing happened. For Christ's sake the Traynor shower scene and Allers' come on occur right after his death. Talk about tact and diplomacy here!

In short... I feel for you guys, I really do.

I feel for all the Thane romancers, because this is absolutely unfair. And Thane was a favorite character of mine anyway, so I was upset that there was no way to save him.

What if Thane's death only happens when you didn't get his loyalty, like some of the other characters in the game? Like, Grunt: he lives if you got his loyalty, and dies if you didn't. So the same could go for Thane: if you got his loyalty, there would be a cure and he'd live, but if you didn't get his loyalty, what happens in the game now would happen.

Seriously, a handful of regular fans could have done a better job than Bioware and EA did......

Thanks for your support, SugarChic. It certainly was unfair to us Thane-mancers! Most everyone here would have loved a chance to keep Thane alive by some means, unfortunately a good amount of people are adament about his death-so much so that they believe Thane needs to die. It's a little baffling, but thankfully we have cool people here to rant with.

Welcome Tashash! We agree completely *nods*. Bioware better make some Thane DLC or else I'll probably die from despair. My heart has been shattered to inhalable pieces by how much ME3 sucked compared to how it could have been, especially in the romance department

Tash!!  We agree.  There is space magic aplenty, but none for Thane.  He's dying you know.  Did he mention he's dying?  Did you hear him say he's dying?  No way you can help him, he's dying.  It's your own fault for romancing him, he told you he was dying.  He can't help, he's dying.  He'll watch over the VS because he's dying.  Hello???  Don't get your hopes up, he's dying.  Did I mention he's dying?  Yep, he's all about being defined by the illness. 

This is why I go back to DA2 occasionally to get me some Fenris love

Welcome Tash and no you are not late, it's never too late for Thane love or to join in.  I'm not a fan of TroLeng, well not the one they put in the game, he was better in the books.  Well, Deception is another matter but I won't go there.

This game could have been so much more, Thane should have been so much more, Shepard should not have undergone a lobotomy, and choices should have mattered.  Pantsless Thane, heh heh, poor guy is forced to remove his shoes when he enters my Shep's cabin.  Oh are your shoes attached to your pants.    Oh well, rules are rules

Thane is " too good to be forgotten "specially after claiming the lot of efforts and researches to make him a womanizer. My theory of the guy being jealous of his girl spending more time drooling front t Thane picture than himself is more possible...I have another theory but o one never want to believe me
