SO I come back and find this

@Coldi...she didn't have a model so went with the Ken version...
@gears...of course you can say outstanding. I think she is an uplifting artist, or I would if I were a male.
mnomaha sort of quoting Ken, that dude was so great.
Next there is all these dirty jokes, references and ridges. All of you with your dirty jokes are making my brother and his Army Bros look tame.
Oh and I found a link I seemed to miss to a certain thread that got locked, but I still read it, I'd like to post some of the highlight posts, that make some look like... yeah leave it blank
"Curing Thane would have been a shameful example of ridiculous fan service, and bad writing. Thankfully Bioware didn't go that route.
Thanemancers go into that romance knowing he is terminally ill from the start. They should just enjoy the story and one of the defining aspects of his character, without expecting some sappy and contrived happily ever after ending. I always roll a heterosexual male Shep, so I've never done the Thane romance. But I have seen all the romance videos on youtube, and think Thane's was one of the better written in ME2. I can't understand why anyone who has romanced Thane with their Shep would want Thane cured, when all of the emotional weight of that romance plotline is tied in with his being terminally ill and trying to make the most of the time he has left with FemShep. A cure would both cheapen and make completely pointless that plotline.
That being said, Thanemancers could probably have been given a little more content in ME3.. But I think the conclusion of Thane's story was very well done, and was one of the most emotional moments of the series. It shouldn't have ended any differently. "
"I think curing him would have cheapened the character - him being terminally ill was kinda the point of the romance...
Having said that, I neither recruited him nor Samara in ME2"
"The biggest mistake Bioware made with Thane was even hinting at a cure in the Shadowbroker files. Thankfully they came to their senses in ME3."
Thane being terminally ill was one of the defining aspects of his character and provided all the emotional weight for his romance in Mass Effect 2. Quite frankly it would been bad writing to make all of that null and void with the single stroke of a pen. (or key)
"I would guess that a cure was discarded not because of Thane's popularity (or lack thereof) but because the writers knew it would essentially be the equivalent of hitting the 'delete' key on the content they wrote for him in ME2. Whether or not all Thanemancers see it that way, I think that would be a bigger insult to both the character and his fans. "
"Bioware had to make the game touch our hearts in ME3. I cried when Thane died, because he was one of my favorite characters. "
"He has a huge role in ME3...It's only the romance that's bad.....Other then that, how bw treated Thane was fantastic. "
This last one I'm unsure if it's someone on Side of us woman and the dude in this thread here or not but
"I have to keep reminding myself that people interpret things differently and more often then not - see what they wish to see.
what I saw as Thane's defining characteristic was his quest for redemption, trying to leave the world better and to atone for the rest of his cold life, including abandoning his son.
hist death works in part becasue he doesn't really die to Kepral's symptoms. however. what comes prior to it? minimum effort. just enough to satisfy those who didn't pay much attention to his character, other then all the cool flashy stuff.
its insulting to his fans to reset his character. its insulting to his fans to discard his character development. but hey. as long as majority is pleased? his fans are just going to have to headcanon things... "
Also that person who said they cried in Thane's death, SO DID I, (yeah I know what sort of dude gets chocked up over that stuff right). The longer his Death sits the more it just p!sses me off greatly and feels stupidly done and extremely tasteless.
I'm just gonna say this because the more time I spend with you all here in this thread the more it bugs me really bad, I Think any of the LI character deaths should have been optional, because that one character keeps our character grounded and is the reason we fight.
Some of the comments in that thread are just whacked, and some of them come from people I know are DIE Hard Liara fans. Sadly it's Liara fans (hell any fan base really) that say sh!t like that, that really only hurt their own Fav character more. Those Liara fans that contently tell the fans of the other LI's to just accept it and be happy bread so much hate and p!ssed off aggression toward Liara.
I mean that one character that LI is such a big grounding point for the player and does wonders to entrance them and bring them back for more. All the LI deaths should have been optional ones.
And for the record what made me like Thane so much as my best bro, was his stained past, guilt ridden hero, and that as Shepard, I gave him a new lease on life. Before he had committed himself to certain death, Shep comes along and changes all that by being a friend to him. And then the people who romanced Thane ohh boy did you girls really get some great stuff and change Thane's out look on life.
I could just list all the reasons I like this character or that character all night, but I'm just leave it at this I've likely talked all you to death if you even made it to the end of my long post.
