Oh I know that they promised equality and failed to deliver. What I just don't get is that Thane was their golden boy in ME2 and they just slaughtered him in ME3. Talk about not taking pride in their own characters. What happen to Thane should have not happen... along with all the other romances that they screwed over.

Sadly, I am starting to hate Liara.

Oh god me too. The thing is, I actually really like Liara as a good friend of Shep's (hence the DP lol), not as much as Garry-poo-- ehem, Garrus, but still a lot. And now, with all this lack of Thane romance/Liara getting special treatment getting to my head.. I'm starting to dislike her and it's not even her character's fault.. ALL the LIs should have gotten similar treatment to Liara's romance but they didn't, and that makes me jealous

And here my Shep is with Thane at the Hospital, complete with subtittles that expose a flaw in the dialogue, 9 months ago, You were on the Normandy and were doing good, in fact you were all happy and ready to live again after we stopped Kolyat from assassinating that turian dude. Which Doctor was this Thane?? Was it Chakwas? If SO I'm going to kill her because she's proven she don't know sh!t about treating aliens

Maybe a few swipes with my claws.

And the rest of you, well.... what can I say? You just know. I really do <3  you all.  I'm still laughing at your lack of trust in me to behave myself with Thane because I would NEVER violate Thane...well, I would never violate him without permission... or even a subtle hint....heck all I need is the thought that he wanted me too.    

Yeah maybe I should be last, maybe I should get on the list, or maybe I should just pay someone to make me one.  Hear that...I will pay someone to do it.  That way I can touchy feely him to my hearts desire.... I hope I don't break him.

Oooo. I have SO much to say about this, but I have a larger all-encompassing rant I'd like to post with the Thane issue included.

I will say, however, that I'm beginning to see that this is just a symptom of a much larger problem. The entire story is geared toward one plot line. And if you don't follow that explicitly, then everything becomes nonsensical and convoluted.

Sadly, it appears that the ladies got the mega diss. Less romance options, smallest (or rather) no expansion or elucidation of said romance (or any relationship for that matter). Real super fantastic that Bioware/EA decided to regress and make this a malecentric game. As I said in another thread, my faith in the gaming world has been decimated.

And thank you all (y'all from a Texas girl) for being so considerate and understanding regarding Garrus' romance scene. It's not something I like to bring up since a lot of folks didn't even get a chance to get to that point in the game with their LIs.

His romance scene (not the romance itself) was brought up in another thread as compared to Liaras and others, and people were like "But Garrus' romance was wonderful!" Yes, it was wonderful, but the scene, as it compares to Liara's is lacking.

If Liara/VS/and I think Cortez can have conversation, foreplay, then the afterglow, then I wanted that too for Garrus. I didn't need naked turian, wouldn't have minded it, but I wanted some foreplay. I can't headcanon everything, even if I'm an aspiring writer. And if I wasn't going to get foreplay, then I wanted some more conversation, that sparing match he mentioned in ME2, or the beloved headbump.

C'mon BW. Just showing Liara naked lets us all know she's your waifu and your favorite and too bad for everyone else.

Also, people really need to cool with the "deal with it" vibes whenever people complain about their LIs content. Other than Liara, everyone has valid concerns.

Garrus' romance does not make up for lake of straight choices for femShep, knowing Thane could possibly die does not make up for how his romance was treated, nor does telling people you should have know Jacob was a fling (WTF?) make up for what happened to his character.

Your choice of LI should have gotten the same treatment no matter who it was. Favoritism never ends well bioware...

Well Spectres use it for tax dodges apparantely, or taking on suicide missions without the Council interfering....

I don't know what to think... was there anything missing from Kaidan's romance that would warrant him recording more for the EC? is it an indication of some post end dialogue with LI? Raphael Sbarge seems to be more open about what he's doing than Keythe, I'd be very surprised if Keythe would let on if he was recording more lines.
Ideal scenario - he's recording dialogues with Thane for when he's cured and back on the Normandy ... in my dreams.

Sbarge is probably the only VA who is in touch with his fanbase, that's why we got this info ( Twitter). Probably others VAs from ME3 are there too...who knows...Im just little frustrated, that still I can find nothing about Thane..Devs never writhe in any Thane's thread, his VA is silent, there's no rumours in internet....slowly I give up...I havn't fun from ME anymore..Fortunetly the new edition of Baldur's Gate serie and Diablo 3 is coming soon.....
